45We booked super last minute, so it’s not really fair to leave anything negative for the property owner. The place is gorgeous, and could be really great given them enough time to be prepared. We accidentally entered in the family’s private area because there was not any sign for the split entrance, which made me feel a little awkward. The dog area is gorgeous, but we left because we didn’t know how to shut the front gate and the other fenced in part of the property was not cleared off (probably because we gave them only a 30 minute notice.) We will be back again, but had to leave because we were not prepared as disclosed that we need pants and boots. A little worried that the dogs would get ticks or there are snakes in the marshy areas, so we hope that can be cleared a little given enough notice! Thank you for hosting!
55The Faithful Bee is an absolute gem to visit! The directions are easy to find. The property was well maintained and, most importantly, our dogs loved it! From the pond, to the high grasses, and lots of land to roam and smell around - it was all around perfect. Recommendation: As the host mentions in the listing, I would recommend wearing pants or boots. We wore shorts, tall socks and mid-calf boots, and I was comfortable. I will absolutely recommend friends and family members to visit.
55Absolutely beautiful and private place. Pond, grass, woods, what more could you ask for! Anita was very kind and accommodating and my pup had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing!
55Georgeous land! Perfect for practicing recall and other off-leash behaviors. Archie and I had a wonderful time. Anita was very accommodating and considerate with giving Archie and I space. She had a water pump so we had fresh water too. Would highly recommend!

Description

Many very private acres to run, with access to pond (we don't mind if they hop in to cool off!) & a water spigot with fresh water to keep your pups hydrated. PLEASE BE ADVISED!! We do have a few domestic ducks which means they cannot fly. The pond is very large, so there's a good chance you won't even see them. They mostly hang out near the water, so they do have an escape. BUT if you think your dog will jump in the water & attack them, this probably isn't the best sniff spot. They aren't terribly afraid of dogs (because we have 2 on the other side of the property), so they may not flee until it is too late if your dog decided to chase them.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

We're still trying to clean up rubbish here & there the previous owners left behind. We've tried to remove any hazards, but I cannot guarantee you won't stumble upon some old metal something that could result in injury. We have not had any injuries, even with small children playing, BUT it IS a possibility & you can explore at your own risk. Closed toe shoes are strongly advised, but not required. Pants are also advised if you plan on exploring the wooded areas as there's lots of briars & poison ivy that you may come across. The wooded areas are not maintained for the most part. We let nature do it's thing back there other than an occasional mowing, so we can enjoy the peninsula, which is a great spot to let your pup dip their toes in the water. Or you!😀 Bring water container for you & pups! Unless you trek back to the wooded area, there's not much shade, so it can get HOT.🥵 There are 2 water spigots, so there's plenty of fresh water for everyone, but I currently do not have cups or water dishes available & would hate for anyone to get sick from the heat!

Rock Quarry Farm - 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Raleigh

Welcome to the Rock Quarry Rd. - Private Dog Park in Raleigh! We have 1 acre fully fenced in with lots of room and enrichment opportunities for your dog! We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. *There is construction happening at the property next door to us, so if you book during weekdays there may be some construction/machinery noise & distractions* 🥇We officially have a beginners agility course! It includes 3 jumps, 1 hoop jump, a tunnel, and weave poles. We hope you and your pup love it! 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, dog waste bags/ trash can, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. You’re welcome to use the hose to rinse your dog off but we ask that you don’t bath your dog or run the water for long periods of time. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). While we do live in the house on the property, it is very unlikely that you’ll see us. On weekends, Connor may be working in the shop building, but will not be loud and will remain out of the backyard. If you have an especially reactive pet, send us a message and Connor will take a break during your stay. We want to ensure that your time is as private as possible. :) Our own dog will be secured inside the house. We ask that you keep your dog away from the back door of the house. For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will likely bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. Otherwise you should not see or hear any domestic animals. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
