55There is a gap in the back fence that most dogs can slip through, but otherwise it’s a perfect location! Just be aware of the gap if you walk through the back woods trail, it’s at the very corner where a fence was knocked down at some point. We stayed by the pond area for the most part and I doubt the dogs would have gone there on their own, but we explored some.
55We had a great time at this spot! We visited the fenced area (SniffSpot 2) and our dogs ran, played and explored for an hour and came home thoroughly tired & happy. Having the hose access was super helpful too after they were paddling in the pond. We’ll definitely be back!

45Great spot, everything about it was perfect except the gates. I have big, 100lb dogs and they were able to squeeze under the gate to get out of the area.
45This was great! It was our first experience with Sniffspot and it went so smooth! My 8 month old Brittany loved it. He is currently in hunting training and this was the perfect place to train for recall. He was super unsure of the water and never really got in it but still had a blast getting zoomies running around the property. The perimeter of the area is wired off and has neon flags hanging from it. There is a large gap from where it hangs to the ground so my dog did go under it. He was also able to shimmy under the main gate. There was a cute picnic table and I could see the solar lights in the ground which would be nice for at night! It was very quiet and very private. Will come back for sure!

We have a variety of farm animals on premises. All may be visible from our SniffSpot areas. The larger animals (horse, donkey, goats) are contained within fenced enclosures, generally behind our house and SniffSpot areas (beware of electric fence around their enclosures!). The smaller animals (chickens, ducks, cats) are free range, and while it's possible they could come into contact with you and your dog, they are generally well alerted and keep a safe distance.

No contact necessary. We live nearly 1/4 mile off the road. As you pull down our driveway, SniffSpot parking is on the right/east, in front of our barn (residence is on the left/west). Info Center (a converted dishwasher), containing amenities and refreshments, is located in the parking area in front of the barn. Sniffspot 2 (pond) is located on the left/west side of our house, accessible via our front yard please.

Description

Hello and Welcome! We offer 2 SniffSpots in quiet, rural, Germantown, OH, offering acres of beautiful, fenced or unfenced fields, for you and your dogs to jump and play, sit back and relax, or enjoy however you like. SniffSpot 1 is an unfenced, mowed, 1/2 acre, open field, with shaded seating and scenic views. SniffSpot 2 is a fully fenced 2 acre converted pasture. It's very private, containing a pond, picnic table, fields, and woods, with mowed border and mowed trails. Garbage cans, Dog drinking water, hose/spigot, and refreshments are available. Complimentary dog treats! We hope you have fun and come back! Thank you.

Hazards

The fenced area (SniffSpot2) has several metal gates with openings up to 8", which may allow entry/exit for smaller dogs. The farm fence is topped with a single electric wire, which we keep turned OFF during all customer visits to our SniffSpot. Note: the pond within SniffSpot2 is contained within a wire perimeter (a single wire, about 3.5' off the ground, marked with flags) to keep our horse from leaving manure in and around the pond during the offseason. Your dog(s) can safely pass under the wire, and you can easily step over or duck under, without worry. The pond, the wire, and the surrounding 2 acres is all fully enclosed within the aforementioned secure 4' farm fence. We do operate a small family farm, and we raise a variety of farm animals. Adjacent to the fenced SniffSpot, our horse, donkey, and goats are enclosed within electric fences, which we keep turned ON for the safety of our animals. Please stay clear of the farm animal enclosures, which are outside of, and NOT part of our SniffSpot areas. And of course, all of our farm animals poop. While our farm animals don't normally share space with our SniffSpots areas, sometimes sh*t happens. If your dog finds manure delightful, don't worry! A hose is available for easy cleanup. Ask about renting our Sniffspot2 for your next private event or party (two private, fenced-in acres, including pond, picnic table, woods and trails). Message me to discuss details (sorry, I must charge $1). $10/person, min. $50, furry friends welcome, deposit required. Easy-up tents, folding table, grilling, and firepit available. BYO seating. Limited bathroom facilities.

Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
