55Clean, big space, and the dogs had a great time here. Will definitely recommend to friends and we will be back to play!
55Our dogs had a great time at this place. Our only problem was finding it. A sign should be added at the strip mall that the building is located behind it. Or information added to the directions we are given by the Sniffspot program
55The spot was great to be able to escape the cold and rain my dog loved being able to run around and chase a ball.
55It was amazing to have a place to take the dogs when it was too wet and cold to give them proper exercise outdoors. We were sad to discover no agility equipment in the building, but there were lots of balls and water and a safe place to muck about and burn some energy.
55It was great to be out of the wind during the recent cold snap. The dog had a great time running and retrieving (and a little training).
55What a great place to allow your dogs to just be dogs and to also have a private space for some training. Clean, quiet, no visual distractions. This was perfect for my two young GSDs to have some playtime with a bit of training thrown in. It's been tough for us to find a spot with the amount of coyote activity in our area. We will definitely be back. Thank you
55The pups had so much fun and exercise in here and we didn't have to go out in the rain :)
55Nice spot! Fairly large building with rubber flooring. It was perfect to train and play with our puppy in a new but closed environment. There were cleaning supplies and the place was very clean and temperature controlled. We will definitely be back - especially on those crummy weather days!

Private Dog Park In Waterdown at Goldenwood Acres

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Welcome to Goldenwood Acres! On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our chickens, gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. Note in the Winter, we have removed the gate due to snow and maintenance. Gates will be installed during or right after the East Long Weekend. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season (November to May). This season we will also be placing pinic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh and 6” cedar posts (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc). There is on openings for the main gates that is currently open. The opening is 16’ wide. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gates on the main photo or on β€œsafety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). If you have any questions, please let me know.
