This spot offers a true outdoor adventure type of walk, expect your dog to go home content & ready for a snooze. The place offers wide open spaces, gentle contour which keeps things interesting, a small creek that fills via tap & rain water, water troughs to dip in, plenty of space to explore. A hose is available to clean your dog off after their adventure at the front of the stables (dogs will need to be leashed), gated entry with a dog waste bin by the entry gate. We offer a rural / farm setting that is still just 15 minutes (mostly paved roads) from I90 (exit 61) that quickly takes you to Rapid City and the Black Hills’s premier private dog park. ❀ This space offers a fully fenced field with loads of room for both dogs and their people to play, relax and enjoy. ❀ This host is putting you and your dogs first by continuing with numerous improvements this year (2025) with (small dog area, new agility equipment and indoor training space, Rally Field, Prairie Parkour, bathroom facilities, dog wash, as well as a horseshoe pit, teether ball and badminton areas) some completed and some coming soon so please be patient with us as we complete these for you. ❀ This spot is filled with turtles, birds, bunnies, wild sage, sunflowers, fantastic views and (always changing) South Dakota prairie grasses and flowers that you are sure to enjoy! ❀ There are chickens (fully fenced) at this spot so farm fresh eggs are usually available for purchase $3 / 6 eggs. ❀ Neighbors do have dogs and livestock that may be seen or heard. ❀ Keep your eyes open for B1 fly overs from EAFB just beyond this spot as well as views of an 1880 School House (white building seen in the distance down School Road from the Gazebo at the top left of the field and Bear Butte seen to the left and of course the Black Hills off further to the left. ❀ You are sure to enjoy yourself as you stroll down the board walks and head out to the fully fenced field to take it all in while walking or relaxing from either of the 2 covered gazebos built just last year (2024) for your enrichment. ❀ Need a little training help your crazy dog? IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Now that we’re entering spring and wet season, we’ve adjusted our prices back down to $5usd/hr. Please wear appropriate footwear for wet conditions. Located just on city limits north of the Hart, this is an 18 minute drive from downtown PG. Cameras located on the property for safety and security. Fences are not intended to restrain dogs, so dogs must be trusted on recall. Please arrive in adequate footwear as it can be wet. There are active hay fields so grass will be long at certain times of year. Dress appropriately if you don’t like itchy legs ;) I offer mosquito repellent in case you wish to visit the pond. Message me for directions to the pond if you’re unsure from looking at google satellite views. Feel free to also message me for a more detailed overview/map of the 156 acres. In the winter, we will have trails “groomed” for boot/snow shoe access depending on the conditions.

10 Acres set in a peaceful farm setting surrounded by wildflowers, tall grasses and evergreens. Great running and walking paths around the property. Shaded comfortable sitting area under large oak trees. Lovely pond on the property, great for playing fetch and leisurely swim to cool off. Deer, ducks and other Texas wildlife can be spotted early in the morning or at dust.

25 acres with mostly wooded trails, and some open fields. Tree-lined creek trail, weaves through property. Lots of logs and boulders for dogs to sniff, chase wild life, and cool while doing it. Easy parking and access. Info for guests: Leash not required. Some fencing in back may be down. Use your best judgement. Clean up not required. Driving Instructions: When going up drive way stay to right. Continue towards barn. Look for red metal gate. Stop and park at red gate. Please do not drive past gate. Walk through gate. Go any direction from there. But... For most direct trail to creek walk to end of riding arena. On far side of arena there is a double gate. Trail is just past this gate. Follow this trail into woods. Creek is at bottom of hill. Once at creek multiple trails intersect near creek. There is also a trail on other side of creek that will weave back around. Trails are somewhat rugged. Watch for fallen debris from trees, ruts in ground caused by flooding, exposed roots are trip hazards. Watch your step.

Let your dog(s) adventure on 10 acres of equally divided grass, field and pine tree trails, and untrailed field/woods. Antler shedding opportunities for pet owners while Fido is having a blast! Keep an eye on the sky for bald eagles! 🦅 Untrailed areas are wetlands, so come prepared. Grass and field/pine trails are well maintained. Some trails have solar lights for night walks. ⭐️ 🌕 No small dogs after dark please! Convenient property location off the highway and trail access from road.

We have 20 acres of meadow and recovering forestland with a year round creek and waterfall views. Pups will love following the scents, running along the gravel road between the north and south property lines, and exploring game trails. Adventurous types can splash in the creek. Please park and play on the east side of the property adjacent to Indian Creek.

Farm pasture. Please leave dog on leash until fully inside gate. There are other animals outside of this fenced pasture that I want to make sure stay safe. This includes goats, cats, chickens, etc. Your pet is welcome to admire them through the fence:)

Welcome to Lix Creek Private Dog Park by Sniffspot! :) We would love to share our little slice of heaven with you! Upon entering the red gates, you'll see a picnic table and fire ring. There is a mowed path around the 20 acre property with red arrows directing along the way. You will also find a map on site to reference as well. There are 3 creek accesses if your fury friend would like to get a drink or play. In the plastic tote, there is fresh water, a bowl and some fetch toys. We live on the property and would be happy to answer any questions you have!
