55We had such a fun time at this spot! Lots of land to explore and sniff and the river access is great if your dog is into that. We drove from Charlotte for a special occasion and would certainly make the drive again!
55It’s a beautiful spot! Very quiet and secluded. The pups loved the water and hearing the cows. The grass is a bit high in the fields so I will definitely check them for ticks! The host is SO nice, very communicative and friendly! Will definitely be back!

Bring your best friend to the prettiest three acres around! Chase balls in our lush open field or go for a swim at our river-front pebble beach. Opportunities for digging, rolling, and mud playing abound. Enjoy being a country doggie for the day in beautiful Happy Valley!

Hazards

We have pastured chickens contained in electric fencing near the house. For the safety of our feathered friends, we ask that dogs and their humans please stay in the lower field near the river and not play in the upper field near the house and outbuildings.

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    We had such a fun time at this spot! Lots of land to explore and sniff and the river access is great if your dog is into that. We drove from Charlotte for a special occasion and would certainly make the drive again!

The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED.
