Our pups loved this spot! So much space to run and play and sniff! They also enjoyed the huge fresh water bowl (thank you for that). It’s a bit of a drive from Portland, but well worth it for the joy experienced by our two happy and (now) tired pups :-)
Wonderful! The spot was easy to find, the fence was secure, and the cool water in the shade was a nice touch. Thank you for having us!
Thank you for your friendliness and kindness!
It was a great time! Lots of space to run and dig.
What a great experience! Huge area for my pups to run around in and explore. Lots of smells, bugs to chase, and sticks to chew up. They appreciated the big water dish as well.
Huge space with lots of variety of spaces; from wide open space to shady space to tall grasses to explore. There was water, poo bags, garbage can, chairs, and tons of room to run.
The owner and their neighbors were both out working in their yards and we’re visible. Not an issue for our dog but know that there can be activity visible from the field.
Great instructions for the space and parking. There’s a cute handmade sign to show you where to park and enter. A huge space for lots of exploring. Loved it! We’ll be back!
Amazing! Javi had a blast and is exhausted. Thank you for making such a great space available.
Sadly, I didn’t make it today to to a vehicle breakdown. Look forward to my next scheduled visit!
As always, a wonderful time. Niko loved sniffing, exploring and patrolling. Nice clean bucket of water.
The spot was clean and well marked. It was a great visit, thank you!
Lots of room with very few holes so I didn't have to worry about my dog getting hurt while we played fetch. Like the others have said, we saw a couple dogs but the old GS was very friendly and mostly stayed to himself. Definitely coming back!
Terrific experience. Lovely spot! Open, peaceful, lost of areas to sniff and large fenced area for my boi to "patrol"! He met the friendly, neighbor dogs and enjoyed sharing turns marking. Boys! I love that, in addition to a big open, mowed field, there is a shaded, natural area! Plus the drive from Portland is nice (once you get out of Portland.. lol). We'll be back.
It was very safe and secure fencing. Both my dogs loved being able to run around
This is a great spot! Definitely worth it to walk the perimeter so you know how big it is… I did have a moment of panic thinking he had gotten out, but he was just exploring a different area 😂🙃
Nice, large, fenced open field. Good for running & sniffs.
Great! Lots of stuff to smell and the fence was in good shape. There was a neighbor's old dog who was curious about us but he was very friendly.
2nd time here, we love this spot! Especially love that proceeds go to help a local shelter. Thank you!
A serene and quiet field right off Springwater, with a great little forest area. Perfect for ball playing! We did not mind the bees, but some folks may. There was a German shepherd neighbor at the back of the field but he was quiet and respectful. Hosts also were kind enough to leave out water but it looks like a creek bed might be around for the wet season!
Loved this open, fenced, clean pasture! Lots of fresh water available (we were there at 8:30) and the dogs had a blast.
Great time. The field was perfect for us. The bees were not a problem for us and the German Shepard next door was friendly. Our very reactive pup wasn’t even bothered by him.
Both my dogs enjoyed running, hunting field mice and exploring.
We brought our two dogs and had a wonderful time. The area was well kept and the dogs loved the balls they found.
Such a lovely place. Peaceful and beautiful. No worries other than my ball going out of reach through the fence! I was creative and got it back so my dog would come home with me. She wasn’t going anywhere without that ball! I’ll be back to this spot! Thank you!
Our girls (and us humans) had a super time at Linda’s! The bigger yard gave us an opportunity to practice letting them roam a bit and then calling them back. It’s a beautiful setting too - we’ll be back!
We loved our visit! Such a beautiful and large space to run around in with our pup! He had a blast. Really appreciate Linda sharing such a lovely place with pups!
Coming to this sniff spot has really built my dog’s confidence! We bought her a herding ball a while back, but she was too afraid of it. Turns out, she just needed more space to run with it! We loved watching her natural instincts kick in!
Fully fenced, wide open spot. Grass is a bit high. Very friendly dog shares fence in a spot. Lots of space to run/explore.
Lots to sniff! Big tub of water, chairs and poop bags provided. Our 3-year-old son came who is currently going through chemo so we have to be cautious of lots of people. So it was a great way for him to explore on how own too!
Loved this place! Germany Shepherd next door is super friendly to my very reactive puppy. Lots of land to sniff and run. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Awesome first experience with sniffspot!! Our pup Arwen had a wonderful time playing and exploring. Pasture was beautiful and safe!
Awesome! My dog came home so tuckered out! So much area to explore! They have fresh water for your doggo! My dog enjoyed watching the chickens from afar the whole time! He loved playing with the red ball that was provided there! Will definitely recommend and will be booking again!:)
Beautiful property! There are bees on property. They’re easily avoidable! Lots of room to run. My pup & I enjoyed ourselves!
Lots of interesting things for dogs to explore - my bird dog was interested for the whole hour! Thank you, Linda!
It was a hot day but there was plenty of shade!
Linda’s pasture has a lot to offer. My dog was over the moon the whole time with a lot to sniff and explore. Will be returning!
Linda’s spot is our absolute favorite! 100% fenced and private. Our doggos have the best time!
A perfect first Sniff Spot for us!! Our cattle dog hasn’t been able to run off leash since she was attacked by another dog in 2020. This was the perfect place for her to run full speed and for us to relax about her being able to safely play. We didn’t see any of the neighbors dogs. The bee area was clearly marked and easy to avoid. (But we brought Benadryl just in case!) This is the happiest our pup has been in two years!
Amazing experience! A quiet, very clean, large field for your pups to run in. Host was amazing, had a large water tub filled up with clean, cold fresh water before we got there! We will definitely be back, thanks again for hosting us!
The pups had so much fun! Most of the area is a huge field, but I love that there's a pretty decently sized shaded area as well. I appreciate the huge stock tank of water and the garbage can out there as well. I'll definitely be back!
This place is fantastic! It’s easy to find and access, as well as clean and safe. I was so happy I found Linda’s sniff spot and will continue to book!
Lots of water, poop bags, and a place to put them. Huge space. There were 2 dogs visible and one was along the fence. I didn’t mind but just in case your dog struggles with that! Great spot.
Nice place, easy to get in and out. Lots of room for dogs to run. Fully fenced with no gaps, yay!
The cooling pool was much appreciated on a hot day like today.
Was able to run mine in shifts easily since I could park right by the pasture gate.
We loved it here and had a blast using the space. Thanks y’all !
Very clean! Water, bags, garbage available. Quiet area. Limited shade.
Great spot. Easy to find and get into. Lots of open space. Our cattle dog loved the open stretch to zoom around and play.
Wonderful spot for the dogs to run, fetch, and play!! Thank you, Linda, for providing a beautiful experience for my reactive dog who doesn’t get much off leash opportunity!!
Loved this space! It was exactly what we needed to burn off some energy 3 whole acres fully fenced for our pup to run and fetch his ball! I almost felt guilty I couldn’t throw his ball further!
There is nice shaded areas to sit under the trees with a water station for the dogs to drink from! My pup decided it was large enough to be a personal pool! Notified Linda so she could refill it before the next visitor! My pup had a great time and didn’t want to leave! Such a nice quiet neighborhood too!
Definitely will be coming back soon!
Wonderful property, beautifully kept up! Nice shade spots and grassy areas. Will be back!
Very nice property, my dogs loved it.
This is a great spot ! Huge space and all fenced in. My dogs loved it
It was amazing to be able to take our dogs out and let them off leash to run around! We really want to come back and enjoy the spot more while we are here in Portland :)
The spot is beautiful and prominent. I wanted this to be our new favorite spot, but unfortunately, they have a bees keep where the Sniffspot is, and my smaller dog got under the plastic fence and was stung within the first 20 mins of our arrival. We had to leave so I could find the stringer and give her Benadryl, as I did not know when she was allergic to bee stings.
There were dogs in every yard along one side of the property. So I’d repeat the sentiment, if you can’t recall your dog and if they have reactivity, this might not be the best spot for you. My dog also got through a gap in the fencing at the back of the property where there is a small creek bed. She’s about 45lbs so dogs any smaller could also easily get through to a neighboring property.
A beautiful family farm that is easy to find! Thanks for the sign, Linda. Well maintained, easy to find, and diverse space. Trees, pasture, a glimpse of chickens and honeybees. Bee area is well marked and easy to avoid. Linda has waste bags if you have forgotten your own. But be a good visitor and remember. ;) I most appreciated the garbage can next to the gated entrance to leave what was collected. Water is available for the pups. My pups ran and ran almost not knowing what to look at or sniff next. By the end of an hour, they were wiped! Perfect field trip.
We had such a great time at Linda’s SniffSpot. The bees were so much fun to watch and my pups loved the oversized water bowl. Linda is also a very accommodating host. We plan on being back again soon.
This spot was great. My dogs ran and ran and had a blast. Wore them out. We saw one dog (in a neighbors back yard in the tree area) that barked once but my reactive dogs were so busy they didnt even seem to notice. I have a very curious female and was able to slip in the bee 🐝 area very quickly at the end of our visit. She did get stung. She is fine (resting hard after some benadryl). Sorry to the property owners if she caused any harm. I would definitely recommend with the amount of space, just beware of that area right in the front. Surrounding fence was definalty secure. Amazing property.
Our 4 month old puppy had a great first off leash experience here. Thank you!
Such a great spot! Love the mowed walking paths
Lovely sniff spot!!
My first time using sniffspot. Linda's was so great! What a lovely space. My dog loved running around here and it was nice to feel at ease knowing it was fully fenced and we wouldn't be approached by other dogs or people.
It was hot today, so we left a little early. There are shaded areas to cool down. The bees were out in full force, but they stuck to their boxes and I made sure my dog didn’t go near them. I don’t recommend having your dog splash in the ditch right now - it’s muddy and smells really bad. Coupled with the heat, I worried about the bacteria in there. It’s an easy fix though, there’s still plenty of space. My lab just loves the water so much!
Linda’s sniff spot is so beautiful and exactly as she described. Felipe had an absolutely wonderful time running around playing. We will certainly be back, it was the best first experience we could ask for! Thank you
Plenty of room to run and easy to find!
This was my first time using Sniffspot and I loved it. The area was clearly marked with a sign. Area was fully fenced. My pups drained their high energy. Perfect.
This is a great spot. The space is huge with a variety of different areas for the dogs to play and explore. We are excited to go back!
Great spot, lots of places to explore!
Easy to find and great space for dogs to run and play.
Great large, open spot… well fenced and enclosed. Immediately made me want to move from the city. 😉
My dog LOVED this spot. We will absolutely be back. The mowed paths are great for humans and the tall grass is so fun for dogs to sniff around and frolic through. The chairs are a thoughtful touch if you stay a while like we did!
Another great visit!
GREAT spot for all dog types. There is a creek that runs along one side and the back side that is a very shallow and fun if you don’t mind the mud. Otherwise, it’s pretty easy to keep dogs entertained in the options of short and long grass in the open field. There was one tiny hole where the creek meets the neighbor’s yard that only my smallest, most adventurous dog could fit through. Also, the shed on the property has blockades making it clear that it’s not a hang out spot, but small and curious dogs can definitely fit in there with a little difficulty getting them out if they don’t come when called. Even with these minor things to take note of, this spot felt safe, clean, and most of fun!
The dogs enjoyed running in the huge open pasture and we appreciated the level footing and lack of obstacles for our oldest dog, who is blind. Convenient poop bucket at the gate and comfortable lawn chairs to sit in while dogs were taking a breather.
This is a wonderful place and I very much hope to return to let the dogs play. Though the dogs were happy to run around in the section with mown grass near the gate at first, we did explore to the back of the property. We appreciated the mown path to walk on and the dogs loved rolling in the taller grass, which was damp on the rainy day we visited. I took a careful look at the fencing across the ditch towards the back of the property and it was fenced all the way down to the bottom, (no water in it on our visit) though a small dog could get through if they were so inclined. Our dogs showed no interest in the area where the bees were, and we did not encounter any bees in the field. Again, just a lovely place and the dogs had SO MUCH FUN!
So much space to run and explore. My dog Tibby was in heaven. She loved racing around and smelling new smells like chickens and cows
Such a great escape from the city for my pup!
Overall the property is amazing! Price is great and it feels good that you’re supporting a rescue. It’s really large with fun tall/short grass and a beautiful oak grove. My dog has the major zoomies and loved it. However, if you have a reactive dog I would be careful because when we visited 3 other neighbors had there dogs out - luckily our dog was able to play nicely with them. Also please be aware of the bees - they are fenced off but my dog was really interested and tried to get in multiple times. My dog loved it but was a little stressful for us with the neighboring dogs/bees as I have a bee allergy.
We loved this spot! Huge field to run and jump in the tall grass. We loved the creek, which is perfect for a muddy joy ride. Fencing was safe and secure. Olive had a blast and I now know my dog likes to wallow in the mud!
Beautiful land! The dogs enjoyed running through the long grass and dipping in the creek!
Absolutely beautiful! Dogs loved running in the tall grass and exploring in the water. Secure fencing and cannot wait to go again!
GREAT space. So much land to romp around. A little muddy in areas, but worth it for how expansive and lovely it is. The pups had a great time.
Very large place to play. Fence was secure all the way around less the gate which might pose a problem for smaller dogs( standard farm gate) , but was no issue for us. One pup loved the open area for fetch, and the other immediately found the mud and water to play in! There were dogs visible and auditable, but the reactive dog in our pack didn’t seem to mind. Three friendly grass puppies (some people might call them cows) at the far end of the property separated by a fence. Bees were not very active when we were there on a gray morning. Overall a great Sniffspot! Highly recommended!
Securely fenced 3 acres for your pups to run free! If your pup likes chickens you will need to be careful but other than that a beautiful peaceful paradise.
Such a fun spot! Love the massive pasture with plenty of nooks and crannies and a ditch around it to explore. Of course my lab went straight for the water. He zoomied around like crazy and had a blast. There’s an old dog on the neighboring property but he/she seems chill. We’ll definitely be back!
What a great place! So many smells and good for zoomies and exploring
This spot is super securely fenced which we appreciated very much. The area was large with lots of room for exploring for the doggos. Such a fun spot! Host was lovely and helpful in helping us change the time.
WOW. This was by far the most memorable Sniffspot we’ve been to. It’s hard to convey just how huge the pasture is. My collie had a blast running circles around the property, watching cows and playing in the stream. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous place especially at sunset.
It was our first time here and I actually went in the wrong gate, but there is a little white sign (shown in pictures) in front of the right one!
Big open spacious property, we had lots of space to run and roam! Of course my pups immediately found the little creek running through the property so bring shoes you don’t mind getting muddy if your doggos like water, overall great time
My dog loved this spot! Lots of fenced room to play :)
Great spot, dogs had a blast! Glad I saw the tip to wear rain boots and long pants, I got soaked. Will definitely be back.
Tons of space & easy to find!
My dogs had a great time at Linda's 3 acres. The pasture isn't a rectangle so there were lots of places to explore off to the side. There is fair sized chicken yard and I didn't know it was there until there was barking and squawking. Luckily my dogs come when called so maybe it wasn't too terrifying for the chickens! The fencing is good, the front part of the pasture is mowed and the back is longer, which my dogs loved rolling around in. There's a not very deep ditch around the pasture, part had standing water in it, other parts were a tad muddy. At this time of year boots are a good idea. We will be back again soon!
Gorgeous pasture with tons of space to run, and lots of different areas to sniff!! The fencing felt safe and secure. Wear pants for the long grassy areas if you want to go deeper into the meadow (there’s a mowed path too with shorter grass). She had so much fun frolicking through the wildflowers.
Wonderful property! Lots of space to explore and my pups loved hopping through the long grass!
This may be a bit long, but the TL;dr is: I drove an hour from Salem to get here and I would (and likely will) 100% so it again.
This is a really large area that is fully (and securely) fenced. My border collie Auggie can be a bit of a Houdini when he wants to be, so we walked pretty much the entire fence line and it is super secure, even for smaller dogs.
There’s a mix of long and short grass, which was perfect because Auggie could frolic in the longer areas while I didn’t have to wade through it if I didn’t want to.
There is a neighbor’s dog on the right side of the property that is visible, but it pretty much ignored us the entire time we were there. Auggie can be dog reactive, but he had no issues because there was so much more to explore. There are also chickens in one area that are fenced off, but visible, but again they weren’t that interesting to Auggie compared to everything else.
The property is super easy to find and Linda’s instructions were spot on. We had no issues getting in or leaving, and the drive out there was absolutely beautiful.
Linda also provided poop bags and a trash bin right by the front gate, which was super appreciated (I never like having to bring those stinky poop bags back in the car for the drive home).
Finally, my only tip would be wearing boots if you go during one of Oregon’s many rainy seasons. There are some areas that are a bit muddy (understandably), but even with the mud, Auggie didn’t actually get that dirty because there were so many other areas to run around and get the mud off.
All in all, I can’t rave about this place enough. Truly such an amazing property and I’m so grateful to Linda for opening it up!!
This spot is gorgeous and could be the perfect private dog park unless you have a dog-reactive dog. The neighbors have a very sweet, well behaved German Shepherd. My dog is not so sweet though and tried to start a fight with him. Luckily the other dog just backed up slightly and looked at my dog calmly, but I was nervous that my dog would hurt him or damage the fence. My dog put his whole head in one of the squares and could have bit him - luckily nothing escalated.
