02/04/2023 Field/Weather Conditions: The recent snows have melted and now instead of a field of dreams, it's a field of sloppy mud. Because of this I find it necessary to pause visits for a few days to allow the field to dry out a bit. For now, access is paused through Wednesday, 02/08. I'll reevaluate on a daily basis and if conditions improve sooner, access will reopen sooner. Thanks for understanding. Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is mostly a soft, sandy dirt, which dries quickly once snow melts or rain stops. A walk around the interior fence line is almost 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. You'll see cows, horses and chickens in the neighborhood. I have a horse in a corral area separate from the dog field. Your dogs might want to investigate and bark at him through the fence a few times, which is normal dog behavior, though the horse is not bothered by dogs. Just ask any of my Dobermans.

We have a 3 car garage driveway where you can park. Walk to the north side of the house and enter the gate. Once inside the 1/4 acre backyard there is a pergola covered deck with tables, chairs and everything else you need to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable! We have a vertical board fence that is 6 foot tall except for two small areas that are 5 feet tall. If you’re dog can jump a 5 foot fence or are known escape artists this Sniffspot may not be the best fit. Our neighbor has two dogs that go in/out of their yard on the other side of the 6 foot fence frequently so they may be outside during your visit. Since we have a vertical wood fence Dogs love to crawl under our deck and shed which are both safe fun for your pups. We have a wood pile that some dogs may find sticks to carry around and chew on. ⚠️ Our deck is composite wood which can be slippery when wet.

1/3 acre yard perfect for zoomies and fetch! We have 2 dogs and often pet sit and foster other dogs and all pups love playing in our yard. With a completely fenced yard and 6ft privacy fence you can let your dog play while enjoying several seating areas, fire pit, or hammock.

We have a half acre of shade, hills, mud, wood chips, sand and sticks galore…this is a perfect spot for your dogs sniff-venture. As a human, enjoy our fire pit seating, green house lounge or picnic table - and if you walk towards the back of the yard, a glimpse of the mountains. There is also a 10ft trampoline on the property to awaken your inner child (or for your actual child if you have one of those) - feel free to play and have fun! We also provide fresh water for the pups, toys, treats and sunscreen/bug spray for the humans.
