Our dog had a blast at Gudenuff! It was a little tricky to find via GPS, but Bronwyn kindly sent directions ahead of time which were very helpful.
Beautiful - great place!
This is a truly gorgeous property and my time there was delightful. There are all sorts of interesting things to see. The alfalfa is in bloom and there must have been thousands of butterflies! That alone was worth the visit. We spent two hours there and didn't even get to see everything. Pine woods, deciduous woods, corn & alfalfa fields, hills... Lots of varied and interesting environments. My dog had a blast and was more relaxed than I've seen him in a long time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested! I will certainly be back.
This is a great spot for dogs to explore and owners to have peace of mind. It's so kind of the owner to have toys and much needed bug spray. If you have a dog with longer coat plan on picking bits of under brush out of them after.
We found some fun surprises in the wooded paths this time. We always have a great time when we come to explore and run. Thanks!
Perfect spot for our pups to stretch there legs on our road trip. We will definitely be back next time we pass through!
This place was a dream come true for us! We live in the suburbs so we don't have a lot of land, and because of Loki's reactivity we can't really go to public dog parks. Even on leash hiking can be very challenging with narrow trails and loose dogs. This was the first time Loki's EVER been able to run around and explore more than an acre or two. It felt secluded and private enough that I felt comfortable letting him be off leash. He had a blast running around sniffing things and just being free, and I got to enjoy being in nature with my dog without having to be constantly super vigilant for his triggers. It was amazing.
The only thing to watch out for is that for some reason Google maps seems to tell you your destination is along highway CS. Ignore it and continue to J - the place is very clearly marked once you get to the right road!
Thank you for the surprise box of treats and misc. under the picnic table! It was a lovely resting spot for humans and pups alike. Another wonderful adventure.
What a gorgeous and open sniff spot! Our two Saint Bernards really loved running in the open field and dashing through the wooded trails. There was so much to explore that we got lost and made it back to the car a little late - just FYI be sure to plan your walk back time. We plan on returning!
Easy to find, clear access instructions, and very good communication. There is a lot of space to run and play and we especially enjoyed walking through the pine woods. We will go back and I think in winter the open field area will be amazing for snow zoomies!
very nice lots of space easy to navigate
Blue and I had an excellent time! Walking the perimeter of the open field takes quite some time, and we were able to play with our ball and frisbee in addition to some general frolicking all the while. The terrain is sufficiently hilly for great ball chasing, and includes a fabulous picnic table to stop and refresh while soaking up the scenic view. Wow what a view it is! I highly recommend this private experience. We will be back soon. Bronwyn has been awesome regarding communication too!
Amazing hilly area to explore, serene and fun for the pup to sniff, run, and play.
Was very nice and big! The dogs loved the open field! My two dogs had such a blast running around exploring and it was nice to not worry about any other dogs!
We scheduled a very last minute visit, but Bronwyn answered my question about directions right away - above and beyond. It's a beautiful spot, and our doggos are thoroughly satisfied with their impromptu adventure. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!
Beautiful! Very easy to find and as described.
Great property with lots of space to explore. Bronwyn, the host, was incredibly helpful with questions and my dogs had an amazing time exploring the woods and open field. Amazing time only 30 minutes from Madison. We will be back :)
Very nice, hope to be back
This property is excellent and the owner was really kind and made sure we could park (it was muddy) and gave clear instructions on where to go. Like any Wisconsin woods there is poison ivy, but we don’t personally mind it. We had an awesome time!
