Location

Description

What could be best than letting your dog run free. 1 acre of our front yard is up for sharing. Green grass area with a few trees, delimited by thuja evergreen trees and up to the pink little flags towards the house. Parking on the side of the street. One hammock provided in between two of the driveway trees. Let your pups free at your own risk. I don’t offer water or anything else besides the hammock and the pretty opened, green grass area, for the dogs to run and play. No toys and no trash bins. Please pick up after your pups and take it with you. Take your toys with you as well. If toys are left behind and they are to small to see in the grass, they could be destroyed by the lawn mower. I hold no responsibility for returning lost toys. If I do find lost toys I will be placing them in the ditch next to the mail box post. Thank you

Hazards

Ground hog home-hole by one of the big trees, near the driveway.

    Meet your host

I am a dog parent myself. I love animals in general, but I am very strict with my pup. He is very well-behaved and trained.

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A kiddie pool as an extra (April- September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table. If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in early spring when the temperatures warm up. When the water to the spigot is turned off, there will be a jug of fresh water on the back steps for your use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it for discarding your poop bags, on the left side of the door to the shed, as well as an electrical outlet on the left side of the shed. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. They can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys. Please try to keep your dog from laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed or removed.
