I can’t say enough good things about this Sniffspot! It is beautifully maintained and the fencing is excellent, no gaps or spaces where a dog could wiggle through or jump over. I love that the field is separate from the house so you really have your own space when you’re there with your dog. Even though this spot is about 40 minutes away from my house I go as often as I can with my dog. There’s a great mix of sun and shade and a nice place to sit, as well. It’s the best and I’m so grateful to Keri for hosting!
Great place! Keri answered all our questions that we had before our visit very quickly. Our dog had the best time running around
This is a nice open area for running and recalls, with a good amount of shade. Easy access from the driveway. Keep an eye on your pup for foxtails during the visit, but they weren't too bad.
Host replied: Thank you for the nice review and just to give everyone an update on the “foxtail” situation.. we have always done everything we can to keep the pasture free form any weeds , foxtails etc ! Unfortunately we had such a dry winter and spring the foxtails popped up much faster than I had anticipated! Which caused me to be a bit late getting water on the field to slow the process down. .. it’s challenging in California as it is,but with no rain it makes it more difficult! I had already spent a grand on having the pasture mowed by a professional service before the end of May which was outrageous since in years prior it ran me $300 a pop not $475.. to be expected with fuel prices however! Anyhow we decided to buy baby Nigerian Dwarf Goats in feb at just 3 weeks old and not able to do their job of “maintenance crew” until there got to be about 5 months old. They now spend their days out in the pasture earning their keep .. LOL .. and they are quite exceptional little mowers ! So while there are a very small amount on the ground ..they get less and less as each day passes ..but there are NO weeds of any kind still standing ! I also water the pasture about 3-4 night per week to keep the dust down and to keep that small amount of foxtails on the ground wet which makes it almost impossible for them To do any harm to the dogs. Once they get wet they become soft and they no longer are dry and or sharp .. and the little “barbs” close from the water and basically they just decompose so they really aren’t able to act in the way a dried foxtail does! My dogs go out everyday sometimes a few times .. I check them religiously of course, but have not seen any in their feet or had any other issues. I still suggest doing a thorough check , but I feel quite comfortable that they are not of any real concern at this point. Of course the longer hair coats can pick a few up here and there and if your pup/pups like to roll (as one of mine does) there could be a couple sitting on top of their coat , but very very easy to bush out. We provide a couple different kinds of brushes and have a wash area that our guests are welcome to use. Just wanted to give an update on that and hope this gives our guest less cause for concern! I do understand the concern that foxtails present! .. but again always a good idea to to check your animals after they have been anywhere that has new terrain.. I had taken my dogs to the beach years ago and as habit always do a thorough checking over ..so glad I did .. as one of my babies had a GIGANTIC piece of gum smashed into his paw! YUCK for one and had I not caught it immediately we could have had a bit of a bubble gum disaster!!🤪Anyhow.. safety is our first priority and I feel good about the condition things are in at this time! Again thanks for coming out and thanks for mentioning the foxtails! Been meaning to give an update on that ! 🙏🏼🤩
My pup Archie is dog and stranger reactive and we are so lucky to have found Keri’s Sniffspot. So much room, amenities, and safe for pups! Highly recommend.
Our 2 boys (a 5yr old English Bulldog and 16yr old chihuahua) had a blast. There was so much for them to explore. The fence was perfect and the area was safe so we didn’t need to worry about them if they went in different directions. The host had thoughtful amenities available, all around GREAT first time experience at a Sniffspot, will definitely be back! Thank You for sharing your space with us.
Omg my last review I had a typo! I couldn’t have asked for a better sniff spot! Such a safe and fun spot for the pups!
Keri’s place is well-kept, the photos are accurate, and she’s communicative and helpful. Our two giant dogs enjoyed the time off-leash and sniffed their way into every corner. We heard the goats and the girls were curious, but everyone was safely in their own area.
Keri’s yard was fully fenced and very neatly stocked with water bowls, toys, treats, sanitizers, water bottles, masks and chairs and tables for us to sit while the dogs played. True to description- the dogs had a wonderful evening
Nice large open space for puppers to play. So many thoughtful additions from Keri for humans and doggo's! So many different water bowls both really large and regular size filled with fresh water for the dogs and bottled water for humans! Lovely places to sit in the shade again for both humans and dogs. Lots of different places for your dog to sniff. Great parking in the shade and no way for your dog to get out. Great space! Thank you Keri!
It was a large beautiful space with plenty of great amenities. It was my first time booking with Sniffspot and Keri was very friendly and accommodating!

Hi my name is Keri and I am a lifetime dog owner and lover. I moved to Morgan Hill/San Martin about a year and a half ago.. we love it here and feel so fortunate to of found a home in an wonderful area to call home! We have an acre of pasture area that is completely fenced to offer safe free play for dogs! . We are new to Sniffspot.. joined at the end of January..and are very excited to share our little slice of heaven with new friends …. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE HOT SUMMER DAYS AND THE DRY WINTER WE HAVE MADE SOME CHANGES TO OUR SCHEDULE! We are closed Mondays and are open during the remainder of the week … however PLEASE MAKE CONTACT AND GET A CONFORMATION BACK FROM ME PRIOR TO SCHEDULING YOUR VISIT. The dry winter and early hot summer days have caused the pasture to turn faster than in prior years. We do water and have it professionally mowed, but we still do have some amount of weeds that unfortunately include foxtails. We have had the field mowed 2 times already and everything is quite short … but there are spots that have come back a little bit due to the watering.. we water to keep the dust down and also to help keep the foxtail from being too dry which then makes them easier for the dogs to pick up. I can assure our guests that we are doing all we can to keep the field in the best shape possible. We have also added our 2 baby Nigerian Dwarf Goats .. who are not babies anymore and are now working hard daily to help keep the dry grasses under control! Since they are out in the field working hard I ask to be notified and that our guests receive a confirmation message from me prior to scheduling your visits. We are happy to relocate our mini lawn mowers out of the pasture , but do need notice prior to our guests visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause .. we just would hate to have any mishaps and the goats have made a big improvement in the condition of the pasture. We have lots of amenities . Including brushes, towels and a washing area that our guests are more than welcome to use before departing.. it is our most sincere hope that you will leave here with lots of fresh country air ,smiles on your faces and happy wagging tails! Having a reactive dog of my own I remember what a challenging experience it was to find a safe place for my dogs where I could turn loose of them to run and play off leash… I have a female Jack Russell that has always had a hard time getting along with new dogs at dog parks, beaches etc! She can get along, but is very reactive to other dogs when they are strangers to her .. and I often found myself frustrated and sad that I couldn’t find any safe places to let my dogs run free and be dogs! I am a firm believer that all dogs need to be able to have that freedom to run off leash on a regular basis. Having been through this experience myself I know how important it has been for the health and well being of our beloved pups . .. which makes me so happy to be able to offer this to others .. I don’t know about all the fellow dogs owners out there , but my motto is.. a tired dog is a good dog !! LOL..🐶😴! So we are excited to have this opportunity and look forward to meeting y’all soon! 🐶❣️.
