55This place was awesome! Fully fenced with a nice little creek that my dogs could use to cool down and drink water. Lots of space to roam and train recall. Super clean and fun. I will use the agility area more next time!Clelia B.

55This was a great way to get my slightly reactive, intermittent listener to have a safe adventure. We started on the longline to check out the integrity of the fence and it was overall very secure. It was nice to take the dog off lead and practice some recall, knowing she couldn't get too far. There were a few cars on the side road in sight but it was easy to get away from those so they wouldn't be tempting to chase. The trails intersect and provide lots of interest for dogs. The property is hilly as described and there are plenty of blackberry bushes, but it was highly navigable. I enjoyed the picnic table at the top of the property and there are all the dog related amenities you could need. We will definitely be back.Carrie E.

55My dog had an absolute blast, she loved running around the trails in the back and the open space, and I loved that she was able to do so without fear of anything. Everything is fully fenced in and we got lucky without rain so no muddy feet when leaving too 😁Morgan H.

55Great worry-free spot! Dogs loved exploring the trails and the water feature and there was plenty of room to throw a ball. Having some training/boarding dog action in the background was good desensitization for my reactiveish dog, as it was a safe distance away with no shared fences (if you’re on the trails). Appreciated the towels, balls, etc provided!Emily P.

55Love this spot! Secure with plenty of room to run and adventure. The hiking trails are on a hill so you’ll get a bit of a workout, but there is a great picnic table to relax at the top. Clear signage and tons of toys and water provided. The owner sometimes has dogs working (training) in another field within view, but is well separated (over 75 yards) from the field with trails. Highly recommend!!Laurel T.

55Parking was clearly marked. Gates and fence were secure. Big play area with plenty of tennis balls, water, poop bags. We walked across the little brook and up the blackberry hill. Four dogs running around and playing and one slow old dog ambling along trying to keep up with the youngsters. Plenty of space, plenty for the dogs to explore, room to throw the ball. Lyndsi is an excellent host!!!Tedra D.

55We were out on a cold rainy day so we ended up not staying long but we'll definitely be back! The trails in the back were super fun for the dogs to explore and they loved the little stream. Heads up it's very muddy (04/02/23) in spots on the back part so wear your mud shoes and bring towels for the pups. Can't wait to explore more when it's not hailing on us!CLAIRE S.

FAQ about our Aurora dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails. You can also browse by specific amenities, if you are looking for a view or a beach, for instance, or other activities or fun features. You can check whether the spot has off or on street parking, the regular park hours, whether it has paved trails or a modern restroom.
