I kept her on a long line to start. Luckily, the horses just ignored her when she pranced over to say hi, and their ability to ignore her made it easy for me to call her away from them before she got started. I even was able to let her off the line and she had a blast running full speed across the field and jumping straight in the pond.

55Our pups had so much fun! We kept the escape artist dog on a long leash, some of the mesh in the fence is just big enough that he could slip through.
And my dog definitely needed a bath after rolling in the horse poop, but with his happy smile, worth the extra layer of shampoo 😆.
The other animals where fun to watch, horses, goats and I think I saw a donkey.
Small pond is great for cooling off after running around (or washing off all mud).
Host is quick to respond and very nice.

Our pups had so much fun! We kept the escape artist dog on a long leash, some of the mesh in the fence is just big enough that he could slip through.
And my dog definitely needed a bath after rolling in the horse poop, but with his happy smile, worth the extra layer of shampoo 😆.
The other animals where fun to watch, horses, goats and I think I saw a donkey.

Just a possibility to be aware of if you think you’re paying for a completely private dog park.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
