Nothing too fancy, but it's a spot off the highway to let your pet run and play, potty, or even just stretch their legs during the long drive home from the beach or forests. It's our back yard of our private home. We do have chickens in a run by the driveway, so be mindful of that please. And we have 3 bully breed dogs on premises. Enjoy the flowers, throw a tennis ball or play with other random toys in the yard. Let them get a nice gulp of water from the bowl, and if stocked, help yourself to refreshments. There may even be some milk bones or other treats out for your furry friend. ☺️ Please enjoy responsibly and come back soon!!

My yard is a large unfenced grassy area on a dead-end street. Neighbor dogs are fenced in. Water hose and chairs.

Just about 10 acres of open rolling prairies, creek, and forest for you and your furry one(s) to roam. There is poor cell reception at this Sniffspot, so it is recommended that guests screenshot the picture of the boundaries (picture #2) to reference when you are here. Sturdy shoes and pants are recommended. This is a natural forage prairie area. There are blackberry bushes along the road and some fencing, but gaps do exist so exercise caution. That said, there is plenty of room far away from the road to play fetch, run around, explore etc. Stay to the right of the power lines when viewing from the parking area. Please try to stay out of the muddy swale area. The best place to cross this area is at the bottom (see picture #2) where the creek starts. Booking availability times are M-Sun 8AM-6PM.

Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the newly exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. >>Pool is empty for the season<< During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One person may accompany a dog but please no children. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.

Fido's is your perfect country getaway! This is a fantastic property for your fur baby to enjoy their very own backyard oasis. Have a seat on the deck that overlooks the creek, mature trees, assorted fruit trees, & open huge yard! Treat your pupper to our 2.66 acres, which is completely fenced with an electronic gate and private off-street parking.  It is conveniently located about 5 miles from hwy 101, just 10 minutes from downtown Shelton, 30 minutes from Olympia, and 25 minutes from Hoodsport. You and your furry friend will have ample space to run around in with plenty of sniffing opportunities. We offer memberships to our location!! For dog lovers who choose to become members, you receive daily member's only hours from: 9am-12 noon, ALL day Sunday, free beverages from the fridge, the use of our pet washing station. Members also receive a lower rate that's never subject to a price increase. Included amenities: wi-fi, treats, toys, towels, ball pit (weather appropriate), hand sanitizer, poop bags, & poop trash bin!!!!

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Spring is SPRINGING and what a week back it's been!! We've been super excited to see folks returning and enjoying the SUN!! Taking in that SNIFFTASTIC pre- Spring air!! Looks like the FUN is just beiginning to heat up! With over .54 acre there will be room for all the Shenanigans a pup could get into. Bring your furry family member for a romp, roll and run in our 6ft tall fully fenced yard. Chase toys down into Nobil's Forest where you can watch birds, squirrels and a wide variety of insects and bees in our 100% organic yard. We've been organic for over 10 years and counting!! All our interior fencing has been assembled by the 14 year old freshman of the house. He really stepped up to help me get things in order. We are Closed for the season so follow us on Facebook or TikTok for open dates ;) Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! A close to the city site with an out in the woods feel. We have a huge field for your pup to run in, a currently short trail (working on extending it), and plenty off untamed forest to explore. The wooded areas can have natural hazards so if they are explored Taran will not be liable for any loss or harm to people and animals.

We’ve been receiving a lot of messages asking if we are still offering our spot. As with many things, a few bad apples have caused us to stop, offering it to the public. People were leaving behind half eaten tennis balls that were dangerous for our livestock, as well as plastic poop bags littering our field. We set aside 7 1/2 acres for the public to come and enjoy when we weren’t using it for grazing our animals, and people would complain about sheep poop. It was tiring picking up after people, and sniffspot taking 25% of our earnings. It was wonderful getting to know many of you, and we are sorry that others couldn’t appreciate what we were offering and had to tear it apart and leave litter behind. We may possibly open up again in the future.

12 miles N of Hoquiam. Pull in parking, walk path to a big area to run and go sniff in the woods. 2 sides fenced. My dogs will be fenced and anxious to share a cookie or two.

We absolutely love ALL animals. We have a BBQ in the back incase it will be a longer visit with all hooligans and hooomans hahaha

Please park out on the road. The Gate is in front of the house. Please make sure it is closed at all times. There is a water supply for your fur baby outside. Please make sure you pick up your dogs pop and that they dog dog. Do not recommend small dogs for now because their is a area were the dog can get out because the wire is wide. Improvements will be made as time goes by and look forward to hosting you and your fur baby.
