55Beckie's spot was perfect for our dog after the Champaign Bark District wouldn't allow us in for one day. Ample room for him to run and very high fences both tired him out and kept him safe. It was a perfect amount of space for my corgi to run and enjoy himself. We don’t have a real yard, just a patio, and he’s reactive to other dogs so it was great to be able to get him outside and get some energy out and enjoy the lovely day. There is open access to under the deck and the patio so if you have a dog who likes to get into things you will have to keep an eye out! But my dog had so much fun playing and running around it was not hard to keep her out of trouble. There are some distractions like neighborhood sounds and small critters but overall it’s a very quiet neighborhood and my dog and I spent some time chilling too. We’ll be back!Alina S.

If you have a bigger dog, it would be a good place to practice training or exposure to other places. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
