We are conveniently located just a short drive south of the city, our park provides ample space for your pup to run, play, and explore. This space includes open fields, trails, forests, and even a pond. During your visit, you might even catch a glimpse of some deer or wild turkeys! We welcome all dogs, regardless of breed or size. We consider safety a top priority, so if you are hesitant about letting your dog off-leash, don't worry! We offer a 15-foot lead that you can use. Bring your furry friend over to the park and let them enjoy being unleashed! We are excited to see you both

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** **Current spring conditions are wet and muddy - towels are provided to wipe down dogs** Welcome! This is a private rental, when you book you are the only one in the space. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Hard packed snow and mild weather can create icy sections on the property, we put down sand and pet safe ice melt on the trails to help. Feel free to contact us for trail conditions before booking. All dog breeds welcome, reactive dogs welcome.

Our Sniffspot is our backyard (attached to the house), which is about 1.5 acres of mostly open lawn... great for playing fetch or running at top speed! It is securely fenced with 5' fencing. There is seating, gazebo for shade, dog toys, and agility equipment and a dog pool in the summer. In the winter there are plowed paths. A separate, 8 acre fenced field with walking paths is also available. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs welcome. ***Charges are in USD*** This is a 1.5 acre field that is perfect for off-leash and distraction free time with your dogs! This space provides apt enrichment for dogs of all ages. The space offers a combination of grassy fields, small wooded area, and a small pond for dogs to run and explore. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. Please park in front of the big gates and enter the park through the green gate to the left. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We also offer an assortment of agility equipment. Please set it up and return it near the trees at the end of your visit. We offer a discount to anyone with foster dogs, please reach out for details. Please note that the app uses USD, so expect a 30% increase due to the exchange rate. There are some burrs on the hill under the trees. It sits on part of my property that offers paths to roam and discover, as well as water holes that are found mostly in the spring and fall, and dry up in the summer months. Today was my third visit to this spot and it keeps getting better and better. I just brought my younger dog with me today to check out the 8-acre field for the first time, and we had a blast running through the trails and playing hide and seek. Kazia also discovered the bungee ball in the small field and she really loved it. It's such a great spot for reactive dogs to get a chance to run free without fear of running into other dogs.

We had such a fun time as usual. This Sniffspot is always impeccable. I imagine it must take hours to cut the grass in the yard and all the walking trails in the huge field. So well maintained! Such an awesome spot. I love the walking trails. Perfect for hidden recall practice! The seating and little water area was great too, we were able to take breaks from the sun and relax between exploring. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic! We loved everything about Heather’s place. Our dog loved the splash pad and agility course, and the pool is great to cool off. There was fresh water for him to drink, and a lovely gazebo for us to sit - complete with sunscreen, bug spray, and some other pup toys for him to fetch or chew. It was quiet and tranquil and a wonderful opportunity to let our reactive pup run and play off leash. 100% will be back soon.

Another great hour with my dog and her most favourite things, variety of balls! At this sniffspot there is a small above ground pool and little fountain for your pooch to cool off in! Also a gazebo to cool yourself under! This is such a nice safe place to bring my dog!!

This was our first time visiting sniffspot. It was far more than what we expected. The area is huge, clean and gave my dog so much to explore. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. I even mentioned it was my puppy's 1st birthday and when we got there, we found a basket full of birthday hats, scarves and goodies for photo ops. This is a lovely spot to take your dogs! The large fenced yard is beautiful and comes complete with toys, a pool and splash fountain and agility equipment. The larger field is criss-crossed with paths - a fantastic place for your pooch to explore. Both the yard and the field are securely fenced. I highly recommend this Sniff Spot!

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
