Space includes a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site in the smaller barn. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs or severely reactive. Please keep dogs leashed until it is your time slot and are in the designated area and keep in mind you may pass another dog owner with their dog on a leash leaving or entering the spot. IF YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOUR DOG ON A LEASH WHEN PASSING ANOTHER DOG PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS SPOT. Lots of seniors visit this spot and they may need some extra time to walk to their cars. For the most part spacing between guests has been good. Please read the essential rules the website has suggested in order to keep this a fun and safe place for dogs. Our SniffSpot meadow is now open, Thank you for your patience being on the waitlist. We needed to grow some tall grass in the pasture for the sheep to take a turn rotating and cut down the grass for your dogs, and they’ve now done their job and we’re all ready for you. In the calendar you will see bookings available until July 30. We will open up August bookings next week. There will be times - usually, long weekends - that the meadow is closed to dogs as we host workshops here and this meadow is used for camping. August long weekend and September long weekend, 2024 will be closed. We are so excited to welcome you here! Once you book, please tell us a little bit about your dog and their needs. We’d love to hear feedback about the meadow and anything we can do to make it a great experience for your pup and you. GETTING HERE 9420 West Saanich Rd - This is the first driveway north of Ardmore golf course on the west side of West Saanich. - Drive up the long driveway, take the sudden left turn at the farmhouse, and straight ahead another 3 metres is the SniffSpot meadow -Park there (you'll see a chalkboard sign) - The meadow is on your left AMENITIES The meadow has water from both a hose and a spigot just outside at the front, where you park. An electric outlet is stationed just under the water source for charging devices. There is a dog water bowl inside the fence and a couple larger farm dishes for small dogs who like splashing around. Garbage is in the large blue bin clearly marked at the entrance to the meadow. Put dog waste in the garbage bin, not the compost bin.

I have a large field that would be a great spot to let your dog run free. I have a 120x60 foot sand ring for detail training (must inform if the ring is going to be used). Welcome to the Cedar Star Ranch. The dog park is located on our 10 acre property. The property is host to 2 Airbnb homes, event venue, and a campground. The dog park is located at the back of the property away from the other guests. The area has a covered area with a table, chairs, water and dog bowls. The area is wooded with lots of bushes. The perimeter is cleared as well as a trail through the middle of the area. This is a new spot and we are continually working to make it better while still allowing guests to come enjoy the space. It can be a bit muddy after it rains. The real muddy spots have wood chips to keep from being to bad.

I offer dog walks, small-group boarding, and pet sitting services. When I’m not boarding any pups, I’d love to open my yard and patio space for other pups to enjoy. I live in a quiet neighbourhood, however there is some construction going on in the lot behind my home! There is a large bedrock that runs along one side of the backyard, which makes for some great exploring. There is a blackberry grove next to my yard which is frequented by various wildlife, so there is always lots to smell back there. Please note there is a significant set of stairs you need to go down to reach the lawn area from the patio. The yard is surrounded by 6ft fences, and there is one section that is steep rock - this could potentially be climbed by a VERY determined pup so please keep that in mind. I’m happy to do what I can to make your time here as safe & fun as possible, so please feel free to reach out with your queries & I’ll try my best to accommodate!

My yard is 0.39 acres and fully fenced. I have a small pool that can be filled up for the dogs as well as a water bowl that will be sanitized after every visit. I have lots of toys, balls and chuck-its. I do have three dogs but they would be kept inside while you are here.

29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner.

I am converting it into a place for very small dogs to have a safe space to be off leash in a grassy spot with a cover so they are safe from pray birds. It will also be a space where people with adventure cats are free to book, so there will some cat climbing trees. For a cat, please message for details, you will have to book through the Swimply App, as sniff spot is only designed for dog visitors. My vision for this encloser is to have hay grass, a couple of young cedar trees that can be transplanted later when they are getting too big for the enclosure. Some logs/ stumps... trying to recreate a mini forest inside the space. With shade and chairs for humans to sit and relax. I will be adding some agility equipment for small dogs or cats to practice jumping through hoops and doing adorable stuff.

The area available is not fenced and is 3.5 acres, situated entirely off the road. The main play space is an heirloom apple orchard with 25+ beautiful old gnarled trees in an unmowed meadow. My own reactive dog loves to spring through the tussocks and uses the trees like an obstacle course. Beyond the meadow is 3.5 acres of hawthorn scrub that’s great for dogs, but not easily human-penetrable. Perfect for letting adventurous dogs have a solo romp if they have good recall. Nestled down a dead end road, you’ll find our farm! We have a large backyard with lots of room to play fetch, get the zoomies out, or just lounge in the sun on the grass. We do have farm animals that are contained within fencing, but our horse pasture is not dog secure so please make sure your furry friends don’t chase our horses. There is a hose and water bowl for your use as well.
