55My little dog loves that yard. Super nice place and the snacks and toys are a very nice touch.
55Pups enjoyed the visit and particularly the toys there.
55Nice space with secure fencing! My dog had a ton of fun and we are grateful for the provided water and treats (for humans and dogs!). There was also a plethora of toys and activities for my dog to partake in.
55Thank you for having us again! Cleo had a blast. You always go above and beyond
55My dog loved it here!!
55Very great experience!
55The Bear Den was the best! My dog is anxious by nature and had the best time playing. The yard course was a lot of fun and the toys they had to play with made his time more enjoyable. No dogs could be seen in the yard but you can definitely hear them. Hearing the dogs wasn't a problem for my pup but definitely something to mention. We will definitely be back!
45Everything was great except my puppy was eating and picking up the excessive poop on the lawn.
55The spot was perfect for our pup to run around, lots of toys to play with and things to smell. Daisy had a great time!
55We loved it at Bear’s Dean. There was toys to play with, water, treats for doggies and humans. There was even a speaker so you could chill out with the pups like it was home. We definitely will be back for sure. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Everything was great except my puppy was eating and picking up the excessive poop on the lawn.

Host replied: Those were compressed grass seed pellets, they dissolve when it rains, and become grass seed. We like to keep a healthy lawn, not toxic to humans or pets

Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.
