55A really fabulous spot! Our pup had a blast running around with us on the trails. It was also his first time crossing a water feature, it was a perfectly little crossing to teach our pup how to safely cross streams.
55The trail is very well marked.
55This is the second time we have been to Bonnie’s land and we love it! Our dogs are off leash trained and love having a place to run! The trail is marked very well.
55Loved it! We had a great time. The trail was clean and the markers were easy to follow. Lots of space to explore.
55This was a nice large wooded area our dogs enjoyed the running space.

Location

Sidney, Maine

Description

A walk in the woods! Deep woods, with stream and a swamp way out back. Nobody around so dogs can be dogs! You should have a good recall for your dog since they could be lost in the woods if not. Tick protection is strongly recommended. The trail is marked with orange ribbon. Please keep dog leashed until you get past the stream.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

The terrain might be challenging to some. Goes uphill 3/4 of a mile, takes about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes. Swamp can be slippery to cross.

Additional rules

Park near generator and trailer. Go between trailer and house, past the woodshed and over the stone wall (there is a hole to walk over it). Keep the orange flags on your left while walking out, and on your right walking back. Tick prevention highly recommended. Please keep dogs leashed until past the house and yard, usually after the stream (Dexter's stream) is a good place to remove leash. Tick prevention strongly recommended. Good recall is a must if they are off leash as they could get lost in the woods. The end is marked, because porcupine dens are further past that spot. Host replied: It was Sunday so no need for Orange. But if you book from Monday to Saturday during hunting season wearing orange even on the dogs is recommended. I think the shots echo down from a gun Range on Pond Road. I just love watching the dogs take off running up the trail!
