55This place is ideal for a real romp in the countryside. Varied terrain from a field for fetch, a riverside to explore, and plenty of trails, varying in difficulty. Best of all, so much space for our rugged pup to roam, and come back to me. Excellent for his recall work! We went on a rainy day because our guy needs the exercise no matter the weather. The creek runs through several places so there’s always plenty of water to drink and play in if your dog likes the water! I can’t say enough good things about it! 55This is our second visit, and right after much snow and rain. While a bit muddy the little bridges and trails were not bad. I wore heavy duty rainboots and didn't slip.

55We had such a great time - running up and down the trails, checking out the rivers and playing with sticks. There was lots to explore. The host was great, met us and walked us around the property. We’ll definitely be back. The sniffspot is not fully fenced, but we had no problem keeping our pup inside the boundaries. Emily H.

John is the most gracious host we have ever experienced! He was so sweet and respectful to our anxious dog who normally doesn’t like other people, but didn’t bark at him once. The property is AMAZING! We live an hour away and fully plan on coming here every free weekend we’ve got. John gave us a full tour and explained all of the different areas and boundaries. It is plenty fenced enough that you won’t even notice it’s only partially- I know we didn’t. Our dog has never been more exhausted, he had the best time ever and so did we. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
