An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. We live above a farm who takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. We also have 2 very large friendly cats. Please be careful with your dogs if you see an occasional cat. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Saturdays are usually blocked if there's Hipcamp bookings. But I would unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest..'
Lots of room to explore and play
4 acres of fenced in yard, far from any busy roads. Farm animals on premises in their separate respective areas.
A 4 acre fenced in meadow that is used for alpacas to graze, is also used for an off-leash dog play area. Parking at Meadow entry gates. Dog owners must check in at the reception desk in the main lodge and sign a liability waiver for first visit.
Farm owned by host. Wide open space to run and have fun. Two wading pools and a sprinkler. Farms animals in another area of the property. Quiet, seating available.
Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn, i.e. diggers welcome!!
Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. These things can be scheduled through our website at: www.cedarbrookvet.com, or call or text us at 360-794-9255.
Timber Paws is a dog day camp service operating in and around the Bellingham, WA area. During non-operating hours our private and fully fenced-in dog park area is available for rent via Sniffspot. Take advantage of nearly 2 acres of natural, wooded terrain with plenty of space to run, chase, and fetch. The Pacific Northwest Trail, a through-hike trail hundreds of miles long, runs directly through our property via the gravel road and allows you to go on hikes of virtually unlimited duration. Please note that the standing propane heater is NOT for Sniffspot users. Please also keep out of the tiny house - guests are NOT permitted to enter. Any usage or tampering with the heater or tiny house will result in a loss of future booking privileges. PLEASE do not allow your dog to play with the toys and tennis balls if they are known to destroy them. These are intended for the day camp dogs and I can't keep constantly replacing them out of pocket. The garbage can is to throw away poop only. Please also bring your own water. Please replace any toys that are destroyed by your dog.
We are located in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Bellingham. Our "back 40" is a mostly maintained lawn with several trees for shade and a covered back porch for resting. Two sides of the "back forty" are bordered with a 6 foot cedar privacy fence. The far back of the yard borders a city watershed with a 6 foot chain link fence. Deer can often be spotted on the watershed but will leave the area once you and your fur baby arrive. Please consider posting a picture of you and your dog playing on our back forty. :)
5 acre property away from road. Deep in the woods. A fully fenced pasture made for big dogs to run, play and rest. Includes XL dog house, raised platform with ramp, metal bowl and fresh drawn gallon jugs of well water, pull toys. Outside of fenced area Gate accesses on leash trails that meander through woods to medium sized pond with wildlife.
WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!
Our spot is located in the Roosevelt neighborhood. Our property is a tad over a 3rd of an acre. We offer a discounted rate to folks who sign up for our membership because there are less fees. Parking is located directly in front of our sea foam green (lol!) house in the grass. Please don’t park in front of our neighbors grey house. Back yard space has a concrete patio with chairs, fir trees for shade. Yard is fully fenced, a very small dog could possibly squeeze through at a couple spots by the gates, so check the properties perimeter. Garden is fenced off to keep pups from harvesting our veggies early. Please don’t use the trampoline or enter the garden. Deer can be seen in the retention pond beyond the fence occasionally. Fence is between 5ft and 6ft tall. Deer don’t like our backyard due to our own pups so they aren’t a concern. Our yard is 420 friendly and brews are ok too! There is a recycling container on your way out the gate for cans or bottles. Garbage for poop is right next to the entrance gate. Relax after a long day in our backyard with your doggo, just like you would in your own! We just ask that you are respectful and clean up after yourself.
Welcome! We are working on an exciting new place for dogs, and in the meantime, we have a huge field with brand new 6' chain link fencing. We would love to share our space with dogs who need room to run. We hope the humans will enjoy the peacefulness of the field with surrounding woods and peek-a-boo views of the valley. Our field is a bit muddy in places in the wet season, but we have a hose and sprayer if you need to rinse off. We have a covered area with chairs, poop bags and water bowl by the hose. We have a reserved parking space just for you! Our dog will be in the house or possibly in his separate dog run by the split rail fence. If you know that seeing him might upset your dog, let me know and I'll try to keep him inside if possible.

Acreage is divided into 3 areas, with gates open or closed to limit or expand running space. Higher areas are drier, puddles in the lower spots. Pastures are vacant through the winter months. Our fence is approx 5 feet high. Exceptions are a small fence along our patio and a pile of dirt in one corner (see pictures). There is a gate at the right side of the house to access the yard. You will need to go up a set of stairs. ***Charges will be in USD***
***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** We live on 1 acre which includes our home. We have separated our yard into a small fenced area which surrounds our front door and borders a portion of our driveway. The remainder of the yard is where you’ll be spending your time. We love our yard. It feels like an oasis in the middle of a nice neighbourhood not far from the City Center. The yard is mainly made up of a large grassy field. It’s bordered by large wisteria covered trees and bamboo which provides shade during the heat of summer. We have a small section with fruit bushes such as raspberries and blueberries. Feel free to have a snack while you’re enjoying your visit! *Formerly known as Gwen & Fraser's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Mission.
