55Our dogs had a blast at this beautiful spot. Everything is as described. The dogs loved running through the muddy creek/trickle and we really appreciated being able to hose them off before leaving. Be aware that there are lots of ticks, but that is to be expected in grassy fields in the valley. We will definitely be back!
55A beautiful property. Our 2 guys are small, so the tall grass was a challenge but the mowed paths were great. I think larger dogs would love it here.
55Exactly as described. My dogs had a wonderful time. It was an adventure for them.
55Very pretty area, had lots of space for my dog to run around and sniff all sorts of tall grass and brush
55This was Ken’s first time off leash with no fence. After we explored the area, we felt very secure in the area, especially after you go over the bridge. This is a very nice space with lots of wooded area and great places for the dog to sniff, as well as open space to play ball. Hiking boots and if it’s wet, waterproof. This is a nice large space and we will definitely be back very soon.
55Beautiful property! Very pleased that the host made time to greet me on my first visit.
45Beautiful property and close to town! Our dogs especially loved running through the tall grasses and drinking from the stream.
55Nice variety of open terrain and trees for good exploring, sniffing. Mostly unfenced, but boundaries are clearly marked.
55We had a great time at this spot! The site is clearly marked and easy to get to and I liked the ‘self serve’ nature of the property. It was very clean. It’s a mix of fields and trees with some lower wetland-type area too. The wildflowers were gorgeous! We don’t usually get to explore in hilly areas and that was fun variety for my dogs. Who knew running downhill was so much fun! I really appreciated the markers on the edge of the property. good recall is a must I’d say given the unfenced nature. As the host states, we saw some dogs/a person on the far side of the property, and the lay out ended up being PERFECT for an impromptu set up with my recovering barky/lungy dog. We could see the dogs and person from a great distance, so we stayed under threshold and the natural enrichment helped her dismiss the dogs and enjoy herself. Amazing! Thanks for sharing your land!
55Wonderful woodsy setting! Lots to explore! Great spot!

Description

Five-acres easily accessible off Bailey Hill Road, just outside Eugene OR, separated from the road by a steep embankment. This property has a seasonal creek, seasonal wetlands, and a picturesque bridge connecting a green front pasture to a pastured back acre with wooded areas on the property. My property is not fenced but is surrounded by natural, densely wooded areas. Note: The creek is seasonal and is not spring-fed. The water level ranges from flowing to muddy to bone dry, depending on weather and recent rainfall. The pastures are mowed infrequently, and the grass height ranges from tall to very tall - perfect for large dogs or small dogs that like to explore. I provide a water bowl and hose, chairs, easy parking, dog bags, a trash can, and free range of the property and creek area. Fruit trees and blackberry bushes are available for picking in season (speak to me if you want to take more than you can eat on the property). Please respect dog waste etiquette. There are security cameras on the property. Please, no smoking or fire.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There is poison oak on the property in small amounts as well as blackberry. There is significant natural brush, uneven ground, and small streams of water - watch your head and your footing. No entry signs are posted at the edges of the property a few feet inside the boundary. It is safe to pass these markers, but not too far :)
