Our spacious backyard is ideal for dogs that need to run run run! We have a 5 foot fence and will add more amenities if we get enough guests. We have 2 Bernese mountain dogs that play well with others if you want them to join you!

A very securely fenced and lovely private area to train your dog or just let him or her run and be silly and play. There are often chickens and horses just on the other side of an adjacent fence which many dogs find interesting, but is not included in the accessible play area. A large portion of all funds raised is donated to a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Adults only with dogs unless other arrangements have been made with the property owner. (Owner reserves the right to cancel guests if rental area is too wet or muddy from recent rains in order to preserve the flora.)

Fully fenced yard, dog toys, treats and dog sprinkler and pool. Water available for dogs and parents, chairs, table, snacks with facilities to dispose of waste. Dog disposal bags available with trash can. towels, speakers everything you would need for a safe and enjoyable experience

We are a dog loving home located on a large lot right off the Illinois Prairie Path in Lombard! Perfect spot for owners who already walk their companions on the path to stop and have some playtime or extra training time. Our favorite times of year to see our Newfie play outside are winter (he loves to catch snowballs, chase our kids and then lay in the cold snow)…and the summer when he lays in the cool grass and plops himself down in the kiddie pool. We hope your doggies will love to enjoy our yard just as much!

Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!

Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. Welcome to our 2 acre ruff relaxing Resort. Although it is not fenced in, our property is perfect for dogs and kids trained to be off-leash.  Wonderful area to let your children of all legs explore and play. If you have children there is a dock for kayaking or fishing (avail Jun-Aug). Bring the family and enjoy a picnic on our back patio or lake area. The water is treated during summer months for algae and is safe for people and animals. We take pride in our property and love sharing it, all we ask is to please leave it as found or better 😊.

I did not know that this was a thing so please excuse the yard if it is not up to par. Right now it is just a grassy fenced in spot. As I learn more I will try to make upgrades.

This fully fenced in 0.25 acre yard is attached to our Dog Training studio in Hoffman Estates. It is available for use when we're closed. It is only available after 6:00pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation.

Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We have agility equipment, pools, ramps, weaving poles, water bowls and more available at your disposal. It’s a great environment to be in & is directly adjacent to one of the best doggy daycares in Chicago, PupStars Pet Care. **We have added OPEN reservations from 8:30am to 5:30pm weekdays for people that would like to visit the yard prior to deciding if they would like to become full access Members.** We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening & weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) WATER: We provide fresh water every 24hrs located in(or next to) the CORONA Cooler. PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did finally WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:00p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.

Bad news: The weather is making the front gate wonky. Sometimes it closes perfectly, sometimes not. There’s a bungie cord to help close it, but if this is a concern for you and your pup, wait a bit until I figure out a good solution. Large yard right on the river. No access to the river (yard is fully fenced), but human views of the water, ducks, other birds, and wildflowers on the bank. Pesticide, and herbicide, free lawn but various flowers, shrubs (and weeds) on the edges. Lots of wildlife in the area. Birds visit, bunnies, squirrels, etc. more than your average Chicago yard. End of dead end with pretty good privacy. There are 3 big dogs at the house across the alley, but they are also well fenced. They are out on occasion, but usually not for long and I can’t guarantee their schedule. The view is mostly blocked by garbage cans and bushes, but not completely, so this may not be the place if your pup is super reactive. There are 2 Adirondack chairs, feel free to move around into sun or shade or lay out a blanket or whatever you need to be comfortable. There is stainless steel water bowl and some toys. Feel free to use the hose by the stairs to fill up the water bowl. Chain link fence on most and iron fence at front. Not ideal for small dogs or escape artists that can squeeze under or through fence. See photos for details of fence and if your dog would try to squeeze through.

Enjoyed by our dogs for 15 years, our yard is a good size for zoomies, grass naps, and squirrel & bird watching. We have a table with comfy chairs and a kiddie pool. A crate of our guardian angel’s toys await your pooch. The neighbors on each side are dog free. You can spend time without a barking contest ensuing.

Your dog can enjoy lots of interesting smells in our outdoor training yard where we hold our weekly obedience classes. Enjoy shade trees, grass, bushes, and a poop can for your convenience. This is a great spot for starting to expose your dog to the sight of other dogs and people without having to interact with them.

Our yard provides plenty of shade and sun. Several seating options throughout the length of the yard. A giant storage box filled with dog toys. Balls: soccer, basketball, and tennis. Nerf Chuck-it throwers, Nerf Dog ball Gun, and frisbees. Stick Library for stick loving pups! Lots of room to run and play!

Cholula is a 5 year old GSP rescue who knows the value of play as she has had reactivity issues in the past (although she’s worked past most of those issues :) We understand the difficulty of these issues and she’s excited to share her space with you! Come spend time in a flowery private space with a kiddie pool, small agility set, toys and fresh water bowl.

This is a wonderful spot for dogs to run and play. The yard is large and is fully fenced for safety. Quiet suburban location and patio for Mom and or Dad to relax on while Rover romps!
