55I love seeing my doggie client’s faces and eyes light up once we arrived. They were so excited to explore the property, jump in the streams, run up and over the hills, and take in the magical views. Thank you!! Mary E.

55By far the best Sniffspot in the area. All the little touches - trashcans throughout the property, a super clean portapotty, toys!
The only thing I would say is that if your dog’s recall isn’t totally solid, they can wander over to the adjacent properties. Both of my dogs are attracted to horses, so I have to use extra caution on the side of the property with visible horses. It’s great practice!!!Andrea P.

55Great spot! The dogs especially loved the creek. As mentioned in the description bring your muck boots and make sure you have a way to clean up your dogs if there’s been recent freezing weather. The porta potty was clean and well maintained and multiple garbage cans were placed around the property for poop bags. Julie M.

55Well worth the bit of a drive to watch your dogs revel in all the acreage to explore! My dogs had a blast running the trails and jumping in the creeks. The slight hills were good for them to exercise on and they loved the logs to climb on, holes to further dig in and tall brush to romp through. Very peaceful place. All the cute wildlife figurines scattered around the property were fun to check out too. We appreciated the clean porta potty for the humans! Meredith N.

55This place was amazing for both my 5yo and our giant puppy. Lots of space to frolic, cute statues around, logs, no scary drop offs and the water is very shallow.Ally V.

55Amazing Sniffspot. There are beautiful trails, places to sit, and a fabulous view! Small, elegant looking garbage cans line the trail for disposal of poop. The bridges, trails, and over all up keep is impressive for a private experience like this. I’d say be sure to bring your own water and wear boots. Large portions of the trail are in direct sunlight so it can get hot, and there are muddy sections that are better in boots. Rachel R.

55Great place for our huskies to run and play! The stream is great and nice area to walk around. Directions were a little confusing with right vs left turn, but found it in the end. Brianna S.

55Wonderful! My dogs are reactive to surprise strangers/dogs and I felt comfortable having them off leash over most of the property. There were cows at the front, but not highly visible so the dogs didn’t see them, otherwise saw no one else. A neighbor’s house and driveway are visible from one side of the property, but otherwise felt very secluded. Pups had a blast exploring the creek (very high right now, waterproof boots were very helpful).Emily P.

55This is our first time and we love it!! I pay for 2hrs but my dog was done by 1hr and half 😆 so we left early. Also be caution on the further trail there's alot of weed with spikes that hurts. If I can feel it through my jeans so can my dog. Don't let that stop you from visiting. Great spot! Raquel V.

55Note to self - book at least 1.5 hours! I did arrive a little late, but time flew by while we were here. At first I thought the little loop by the stream was it, until I realized there’s a whole trail out back that loops around. I know there’s a map, but I’m terrible at reading them. My dog had a lot of fun splashing in the stream and exploring the trails. There is an area with lots of prickly plants and they’re not so fun. It was very muddy and slippery in some parts, so do wear sturdy footwear. We’ll be back! Chantalle v.

55A wonderful location. Fun for humans and dogs. Everyone was a huge fan of the creek and it was a great reprieve from the trail on the hill that’s in full sun. We did a few loops to equal ~1.5 miles. Didn’t see a single human and dogs could hear neighboring cows, but didn’t see them. Highly recommend! Angela G.

55Such a fun time for my girl! She loved exploring and hearing all the little critters in the tall grass and playing in the creek. We also really appreciated the hose at the end to wash her off! We will definitely be back here another day!Olivia B.

FAQ about our Colton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Colton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 133 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 34 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
