Meet compatible dogs near you, match with other pet parents, and plan fun dog playdates together.
Available to Sniffspot Members in the iOS and Android apps.

Finding the right dog playdate isn't always easy. Crowded dog parks can be unpredictable, and not every dog has the same personality or play style.
Playmate Finder helps you discover dogs nearby, connect when both pet parents are interested, and plan a play session together.
Whether your furry friend loves running and wrestling or prefers gentler one-on-one social interaction, you can look for a canine companion who seems like a good fit.
Browse profiles of local dogs and find potential playmates that seem like a good fit for your dog's personality and play styles.
Interested in a dog? Let us know. When both pet parents are interested, it's a match. Start chatting and get to know each other's dogs.
Choose a time and place to meet. You can meet wherever you both feel comfortable, or book a private Sniffspot for your playdate.

You can meet wherever you choose, but private Sniffspots are especially well suited for introducing unfamiliar dogs.
Instead of meeting in a crowded public dog park, you can reserve a private space for just you and the dogs you're introducing.
No unfamiliar dogs entering during your reservation.
Meet somewhere that doesn't belong to either dog.
Choose a fenced outdoor area, open field, swimming spot, or other space that works for your dogs' play styles.
Give dogs space, watch their body language, and let them get comfortable at their own pace.
Always check the individual Sniffspot's rules before booking. Some hosts may not allow first-time dog introductions.
Playmate Finder is designed for friendly, social dogs that enjoy meeting unfamiliar dogs.
Sniffspot does not determine whether two dogs are compatible, so pet parents remain responsible for deciding whether to meet and supervising their dogs.
Before a first dog playdate, we recommend:

“Finding a good match for our high energy puppy!”

“Meeting other dogs nearby that I wouldn't have met otherwise”

“A great way to look at suitable playdate options”
Browse profiles of nearby dogs and indicate which dogs you'd be interested in meeting. When two pet parents are both interested, it's a match. You can then chat in the Sniffspot app and coordinate a dog playdate.
Playmate Finder is available to Sniffspot Members through the Sniffspot mobile app on iOS and Android.
No introduction between unfamiliar dogs can be guaranteed to be safe. Pet parents are responsible for deciding whether their dogs are appropriate playmates and supervising them.
We recommend confirming vaccination status, following safe introduction protocols, monitoring both dogs' body language, and consulting a qualified trainer or behaviorist whenever you're unsure.
Private Sniffspots can provide a more controlled alternative to crowded public dog parks by providing neutral territory without unfamiliar dogs entering during your reservation.
Sniffspot does not certify or guarantee compatibility between dogs.
Playmate Finder lets pet parents browse dog profiles, mutually match, and chat before meeting. You can discuss your dogs' personalities, energy levels, play styles, behavioral issues, and previous social interactions before deciding whether you want to arrange a play date.
You and the other dog parent decide where to meet.
Many members choose a private Sniffspot because it provides neutral territory and a more controlled environment for a dog playdate. You might choose a fenced outdoor area, open field, wooded property, swimming spot, or another private environment that works for your dogs.
You're never required to meet another dog simply because you've matched. You decide whether to continue a conversation or arrange a playdate.
You can also hide your dog from Playmate Finder through your dog's profile settings.
Playmate Finder can help pet parents look for canine companions with compatible personalities and play styles, whether you're arranging Puppy Playdates, looking for a high-energy playmate, or hoping to find a gentler companion for an older dog.
