Jade and Zac are proud dog parents to two beautiful rescue pups, so we know how important it is to have a safe space where dogs can just be themselves. Back when we lived in an apartment, we relied on Sniffspot for exactly that! Now that we have a big fenced-in backyard with gate access, we’re excited to share it with others! Our yard is perfect for pups who need a little extra space and a little less social interaction. There’s plenty of seating for you to relax while your dog plays, and if you’d like, we can even turn on the fire pit to make your visit extra cozy. We’ve stocked the space with everything we loved at our favorite Sniffspots: poop bags, treats, tennis balls, toys, bug spray, sun screen, and more. If you need anything at all before your visit, just let us know! Our two pups may be home during your visit, but they’ll be secured and kept out of sight so you and your dog can enjoy the yard stress-free. If needed, we can also take them off the property entirely. Please just mention it when you book. We totally get it. We also offer a discount for foster families as a thank-you for supporting the community. As Lifeline volunteers (and proud foster fails of both our babies), we love giving back to others who open their homes to dogs in need. So enjoy your time in what we call Dragon’s Lair (our home) and run around in Gremlin’s Grotto (our backyard)🫶🏼

Welcome to Brockett Bark! 🐾 Friends have told us our backyard feels like a small city park: a fully fenced 1.2 acre property lined with trees that provide lots of shade and privacy. It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! Our home is super easy to find/access and we have plenty of private (off-street) parking available, making it an ideal space to meet up for playdates. Great shady open space. Lots of fun critters to see and observe (birds, squirrels, etc). Table and chairs to bring food or work to. Access to hose for water playing/drinking. You can hear our neighbor dogs however both the neighbors and myself have a fence, so you don’t have to worry about interactions.

The neighborhood is super calm and quiet, and often the only sounds are birdsong! At the end of my block, there is a walking trail (South river trail). Very quiet also. *note* please throw poop bags into the small yellow plastic bin against the house.
