There’s no grass so it looks a little muddy but the drainage is super good and my dog stayed clean despite the fact that it drizzled on the drive over.

A great neighborhood spot for my dog George to get some off leash time. Knowing it would be a bit muddy I planned ahead and we went to play and run around right before bath time - but he stayed fairly clean anyway! The dirt is fairly well packed through most of the yard. As described in the posting and in all the reviews. There was a small issue with the entrance pull when I arrived but the host came out to let us in and I’m sure is fixing the latch!

Big backyard with lots of bushes to sniff, plenty of shade, with a great fence! Easy to use and felt secure for my anxious Aussie!

Really straightforward yard. Mostly dirt so it was muddy but that was to be expected. I was worried my dog wouldn’t be into it since it’s so close to the interstate and she hates loud noises but this was one of the places she sniffed around the most! The fencing is very tall and secure which is very nice. We will definitely come back!

Securely fenced and mostly very calm and quiet! Heads up in case you have a dog-reactive pup - when we arrived, a dog barked quite a bit at us from the neighbor’s backyard, but I imagine they’re not outside most of the time.

great yard! The patio seating was great to have and there were lots of trees which made a really hot afternoon not so hot at all! It is mostly dirt, so i could see it being muddy right after rain. We had no issues! Loved it!

Great yard for the dogs to play in! Very shaded which was great because we’re experiencing a heatwave. LOTS of balls of all sizes to play with. Our pack loved this spot!

Meredith's backyard was great! Lots of room to play, more balls than my pup could fetch, plus a hose and bowls for water. Would definitely book again!

Clean, flat, easy to find Sniffspot with taller fencing than most. My three dogs loved exploring, sniffing, and chasing each other around the trees and bushes. My tripod senior foster dog was so happy running around on flat, level ground! Can't wait to come back soon😊

Lovely yard in a lovely neighborhood! My 5 month old golden retriever loved sniffing around and exploring the space. Plenty of space for some fetch. It was a great, low distraction area to tire her out and practice some recall with her :) Meredith was great to communicate with, and the spot was easy to find!

Haven’t been able to go to this great spot for awhile due to health reasons. But it’s still a perfect spot for Mr. Pibb. I understand she’s closing it down and will remodel. We are grateful for the time we had here and wish great things for the owner! 🐕❤️🐾

Since we last visited this Sniffspot, there is a new fence across the back of the property and the section that was a possible escape route is joe quite secure. It’s fantastic. I think it creates a quieter space from the road noise. There was a dog next door, but no problems other than occasional bark. Water available and a water bowl. With today’s rain the ground was muddy but our dog didn’t care and had a fantastic time running and running and playing with all the ball carcasses left behind by other dogs. We were super glad to have this space close to us so we could wear out our active dog.

My only complaint is I wish there was a broom available on the premises to sweep off the patio when we leave. Luna is a large dog with huge paw prints and I would feel better to clean the patio off when we leave. Luna really enjoys herself and gets tired out. A tired puppy is a happy puppy

As always Luna enjoyed herself. I am more comfortable now with the combination lock on the gate feel secure that someone could not enter while we are there Thanks for today Love Luna

The yard is a good size. It was easily accessible and there was plenty of street parking. Zoltar had a grand time sniffing around and playing with his toys. There was plenty of seating for humans to lounge around in while your dog romps around.

The indoor private dog park at Good Dog PDX is a wonderful place to play or train your dog(s).  It is very clean, quiet, with good rubber matting, water available, and a selection of toys if you want them.  Eric was super helpful.  We are lucky to have such a nice facility to take our dogs to.  Thank you Eric!

Great spot! My dog is skittish and hates rain/mud and doggy chaos, so this clean, controlled environment suits him so much more than a dog park right now. Highly recommend if your dog is the same.

FAQ about our Portland dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Portland area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 120 fully fenced dog parks in the area.
