Great spot! My dog is skittish and hates rain/mud and doggy chaos, so this clean, controlled environment suits him so much more than a dog park right now. Highly recommend if your dog is the same.

The indoor private dog park at Good Dog PDX is a wonderful place to play or train your dog(s). It is very clean, quiet, with good rubber matting, water available, and a selection of toys if you want them. Eric was super helpful. We are lucky to have such a nice facility to take our dogs to. Thank you Eric!

Awesome spot! Very clear instructions from owner about directions and description! Spur loved the colored balls that were there. He also loved exploring all of the neat pieces in the yard! Definitely a top spot!

The yard is a good size. It was easily accessible and there was plenty of street parking. Zoltar had a grand time sniffing around and playing with his toys. There was plenty of seating for humans to lounge around in while your dog romps around.

great yard! The patio seating was great to have and there were lots of trees which made a really hot afternoon not so hot at all! It is mostly dirt, so i could see it being muddy right after rain. We had no issues! Loved it!

Securely fenced and mostly very calm and quiet! Heads up in case you have a dog-reactive pup - when we arrived, a dog barked quite a bit at us from the neighbor’s backyard, but I imagine they’re not outside most of the time.

Really straightforward yard. Mostly dirt so it was muddy but that was to be expected. I was worried my dog wouldn’t be into it since it’s so close to the interstate and she hates loud noises but this was one of the places she sniffed around the most! The fencing is very tall and secure which is very nice. We will definitely come back!

Big backyard with lots of bushes to sniff, plenty of shade, with a great fence! Easy to use and felt secure for my anxious Aussie!

A great neighborhood spot for my dog George to get some off leash time. Knowing it would be a bit muddy I planned ahead and we went to play and run around right before bath time - but he stayed fairly clean anyway! The dirt is fairly well packed through most of the yard. As described in the posting and in all the reviews. There was a small issue with the entrance pull when I arrived but the host came out to let us in and I’m sure is fixing the latch!

There’s no grass so it looks a little muddy but the drainage is super good and my dog stayed clean despite the fact that it drizzled on the drive over.

As others have mentioned, be prepared for muddy conditions. I didn’t mind and neither did Eike! The instructions are straightforward and accurate to get in. There are loads of toys scattered about and a bowl to fill with water. We heard the neighbor dogs barking but they only did so for a few minutes. Great inner city location for a quick romp.

This was a great space with lots of things to sniff and a nice amount of room to run. There is a significant gap underneath an AC unit and the fence behind, so small-medium dogs should stay leashed.

So nice to have a sniffspot nearby! Brought two big dogs and they had a great morning wrestling and smelling all the plants. We’ll definitely be back.

Our rescue, Bruce, LOVES this space so much. It's shaded and they have some tennis balls out so pups can play. They also have a water dish near the hose so he can rehydrate while he's running all over the place. The neighbors do have dogs, but every time we arrive and they start barking they immediately bring in their dogs - super thoughtful and never an issue. This Sniff Spot has risen to the top of my list - I absolutely love it!

Nice space! Plenty of room for running and exploring. FYI there are some dogs that bark next door and sometimes a visible cat by the back door in case that doesn't work for your dog.

Was dirt instead of grass but my fault for not reading the reviews! Overall was a good experience for my dog!

In the summer time this is all dirt and dust but my dog loved it! He played fetch the whole time and found lots of little corners of the yard to sniff and take a break. We came in the morning and it was nice and cool but I imagine in the heat of day there would be lots of shade. Thank you so much for a great time!

Great little private spot to bring my small 15lb foster dog. 2 cats and a human were within view through a glass door, but totally out of reach. While probably not an ideal situation for a reactive dog to see this, I found it to be an awesome way for this shy little guy to test his bravery and curiosity around new people/animals. Will definitely be back with my next foster!

Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
