Rocky and I loved this spot! The perfect sized yard for running around & such a nice little spot for me to sit and hang out! Also lots of water, toys, hand sanitizer, etc! Matthew is such a wonderful host & I’d definitely recommend this spot! There was a doggo next door barking, but my pup is pretty reactive and didn’t mind for the most part (mostly because the fence is really high with good ivy coverage)! The few times my pup did react were a great opportunity to work on positive reinforcement/desensitization training in a spot where my pup (and I) felt really safe! This is my #1 recommendation for training like that because there’s enough sounds to distract reactive pups, but enough fencing to make them feel safe during the process!

I have a small dog (13lb Shih Tzu). This was perfect for him. He had so much room to run and play. The first 15 minutes or so were spent freely sniffing. The yard is clean and we were able to work on some commands with different kinds of distractions (neighbors going in their yards, a couple of dogs that were let out for a bit and people taking out their trash). Will be definitely coming back. I’m so happy that there are places like this that people let you borrow. Thank you!

The yard was secure, clean. Fresh water was there for her. All types of toys, and room for Jazzee to run and burn off some energy. We didn’t stay the full hour because my dog was wiped out in 35 min. Unused to being able to run and play as she did. It’ll be a while before she’s up to playing the full hour. There was also clean, comfortable yard furniture to relax on as Jazzee played! It was well worth every dime even thought we didn’t stay the hour, the price was reasonable! Highly recommended. 😉

This was a perfect space! Our pups had a great day playing here. It was so quiet and private, as our pups played safely in the clean and fully enclosed backyard, my friend and I were able to chat and enjoy the sun without stressing out about the safety of our pups. There were two areas of seating, easy parking, and total privacy. The owner was so thoughtful to include some toys, water bowls, treats, poop bags, hand sanitizer and a few other items. These items were very welcoming. Five stars--we plan to book again!

This was our first time using Snifspot and we really enjoyed the experience. The host made it easy and comfortable for us to simply enjoy some time with our dog in their backyard. Nobody was around so we felt like we had some privacy and could enjoy some free play. If you have a jumper or an escape artist you will want to be sure to make sure they can't fit through a few areas where the fence and the house and corner sections come together. We will definitely be back as this is the only host in our area.

this was my first time booking through sniffspot and I had a great experience! Dan was very communicative and friendly when I asked questions. the yard was easy to find and access! I had requested no contact with Dans dog due to the fact that I’m still working on socializing my dog, and we didnt hear or see any other dogs! It was the perfect place to play stress-free, with lots of area to run and play. My dog had a great time and we will definitely be back! Thanks Dan!

FAQ about our Denver dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Denver area are 5 stars.
