OMG! PERFECTION!!
Our sweet foster pup had an amAZing time! He loved the basket of toys, both pools, his homemade frozen treat & all the plants & turf! I loved the size-inclusive seating, shade, peace of mind when he's off leash and the sweet memories we made.
Quick, kind communication with the hostest with the mostest.
First, and definitely not last, SniffSpot visit! We couldn't ask for a better spot.
Thank you so much!

Super cute spot in a hidden gem neighborhood of Phoenix. Best host ever too! The drinks for humans and snacks for pups available as extras are a really nice touch. Toys, towels, water bowl, and WiFi are also provided. Given the size of the yard it is primarily a water spot, which is great for the summer and my two who always need swimming practice. You can hear the neighbor’s dogs pretty well at the gate/wall, but can’t see them. The orange bush next to the gate where you walk in smells amazing. We will definitely visit again! 😄

This is a great location with 3 main sections- the pool, a large fenced in partially shaded patio, and a fully shaded seating/rest area. My dog absolutely loved it! He was able to swim, play around on the patio with his toys, then rest and drink water in the shade. The pool was a great temperature, and had steps for easier access for my dog. The best part was being able to dry him off after with her grooming dryer!

This is such a wonderful backyard. My one dog has cancer so I'm not sure how much longer we have with him and my other dog has degenerative myelopathy. This space gives us access to a large, clean, open space so my pups can run freely and enjoy the end of life. The swimming is also awesome too because it is good therapy for my pup with DM and they both really love it. Thank you for opening your yard to us so that we can have meaningful moments for our 2 senior, special needs pups. We all thoroughly enjoy the time spent here and will cherish it forever.

The yard was great and the host’s were super accommodating even offering to put the misters on for us. Lots of shaded areas for us to sit and watch the dogs run and play. The dogs loved the yard but there was a large pile of dirt in the one corner that we didn’t want them digging in that we had to keep them away from. We will remember bug spray next time as we left with a few mosquito bites. Overall a great time and we will be back for sure!

Though I didn’t personally meet the host she was very nice in our messages and patient with my many questions, being my first time using Sniffspot, I had a bit of them! She was even kind enough to leave out some sunscreen and dog treats. 🐾🐾
The yard was clean and the pool was nice. The steps in the pool are perfect for dogs that would just like to relax in water without actually swimming.
My girl took it upon herself to explore the whole yard. I had my back turned on her just a couple seconds to play with my other boy, and she was gone. Thought maybe she got out, but nope she was just being nosey! There was no way for the dogs to have escaped, yard was completely secured.
The shaded area was nice, kept us very cool. Heard a neighbors dog in a distance but it was very faint, didn’t bother my dogs or me. Overall it was very quiet and peaceful.
I drove an hour to get here to have fun with my dogs and that’s exactly what ended up happening. Hope to make it back again someday. 🐾🐾

Michael’s sniff spot was PERFECT for my big dog and exceeded our expectations! She had a big grass area to sniff and play in. My dog wasn’t interested in the pool (she’s a nervous dog), but we plan to visit many times in the future, so hopefully I will get her in there. But it’s perfect if you have any dogs that love to swim! Or perfect for just sniffing and playing in the grass like we did. We felt safe and secure with the tall fencing and there was a clear sign that read “sniff spot” for us to enter. Parking was great, and it was a quiet/private spot to let my dog roam free with no worries. There were some extra toys she was able to play with and some chairs to sit down and rest. Definitely will be visiting again!

The yard was beautiful and extremely spacious! My dogs were able to run full speed around the yard, there was lots of plants and bushes for them to sniff around! They also loved the pool and it was kept super clean as well as the yard! The yard was also super private with high walls and lots of privacy!

Accommodating hosts and a beautiful backyard with lovely trees, flowers, and plants abound. It was great to feel safe leaving our dogs off leash, particularly our one escape artist, knowing that the yard is fully enclosed by a solid wall. There were flies and a few mosquitoes around so bring bug spray, but the lovely misters helped with that and kept us all cool.

This was so nice! My dog is 60 pounds and the yard was a great size for her! There is a shaded patio area with a table and chairs and then the fenced in pool. Super hot today so we definitely took advantage of the pool - it has a super shallow part and then steps to the deeper part, which is nice because at points my pup just wanted to coolness of the water and at other points she swam! Glenna was nice enough to leave out a bottle of water, dog treats, and sunscreen! There was also a water bowl and dog bed. The fence is concrete so you can’t see through it, and the neighborhood was quiet! We did not see any other dogs around. We will definitely come again!!!

This is our favorite sniffspot! We took a couple pups from Camp Golden Years senior dog sanctuary on an outing to enjoy the smells, green grass, and check out the pool. They loved it! It was the best enrichment for them!
We did find when we came in the yard the previous sniffspotters had left several poop piles. We made sure to clean those up when cleaning up after our dogs. Their yard is always immaculate and we'd hate for other sniffspotters to ruin that for everyone else!

The location was easy to find and there was a sign saying the house was a Sniffspot which was nice so we didn't need to wonder if we had the right place. Our corgi Pearl had a great time. The area is quite large with lots of different things to see and smell. We played fetch with her kong, but she mostly enjoyed the freedom of exploring the yard. Do be careful, though, as there was some dog poop we could have stepped in if we hadn't been paying attention. We brought our own bags and took Pearl's with us when we left and suggest others do the same as it is just good manners! There was a bowl of water and a place to wash your hands should you need to do so. It was quiet and we never saw the owners though it would be fine with us if they had wanted to say hello. It felt very private. We left about 20 minutes early because Pearl seemed "done" and ready to go home and nap. We definitely will be back - Pearl is already asking "When?"

Our first visit to Sniffspots down in AZ (we've used them up in WA state). Good size yard, and nice to have natural turf for our dog to run on. Enough room for our large GSD to chase balls and get good exercise. The pool would also be good if you have a water dog (or to cool off in the warmer months). Nice to have some shade, and plenty of places for the humans to sit and relax while entertaining their dog. Also, a relatively quiet spot, with little distractions from other humans, dogs, etc (which is good for folks like us who have a dog that can get distracted by other dogs).

Molly was a great host and we had a great time! The yard is just an empty dirt lot right now but Eko and Emma were still super excited to run around off leash, so, mission accomplished. They chased and wrestled and were super curious visiting somewhere new. This is a good spot for a quick visit where they just need to get some energy out. Mine don’t care about digging but this would be a fun spot for dogs that do!

The space is great. My dogs loved it! Easy to find. Easy to access. Lots of areas to explore and things to sniff. The hosts are very accommodating and easy going, which I appreciate so much. And they did a great job of keeping their dogs out of sight from my reactive dogs. Thank you again for sharing your space with us!

This is a beautiful sniffspot! We were so impressed with how quiet and wonderful this was, we wished we would have booked 2 hours instead of just one. Very clean, well kept, lots of room for the zoomies and the pups loved the grass to roll around in. Our puggle thought he was right at home and I'm sorry he was knocking at the door to get inside! Both our pups had so much fun and we will definitely be booking this again soon!

Today was our first visit to this Sniffspot. To provide some context for our review, we have a recently adopted adult German Shepherd, who came to us with some reactivity issues to people and dogs. So we are looking for Sniffspots with plenty of room for a big dog to chase balls, in a fully fenced area, with controlled access to people, dogs, and other animals.
This Sniffspot met all those criteria, and worked well for us. Plenty of room for a big dog to run, in a fully fenced environment. The owners have dogs, so if your dog is reactive, make sure you let them know. The dogs were out when we arrived, but the hosts were proactive in putting them inside and out of sight/sound.
Edwin was a very gracious host. He came out to greet us, and was focused on making sure we had everything we needed for a fun visit. He was even willing to help us with a bit of training to help our big dog learn better how to greet people (even with a GSD who can be a bit intimidating at first).
For anyone in the Valley who needs a big, contained, controlled environment in a Sniffspot, this is a good location. Just wish it wasn't so far from Sedona... :-)

This backyard is awesome!! Yair leaves out treats water and toys for you to use. My only recommendation is if your dog is sensitive to noise, pick a time where neighbors won’t be out and about. This is not the hosts fault at all, but we came on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a lot of people coming and going, which distracted our dog. We will definitely be back, just during a weekday! Thank you Yair!!

This is a very cute place! It would be perfect for summer since it’s very shady with lots of lush cool grass. The host printed out a super cute personalized picture and wrote a welcome note next to some biscuits, water and frisbees.
We have people and dog reactive dogs, and this was very quiet and relaxing. Loved it!

Compared to other properties within a 45 minute radius, which show dead grass, dirt, or just a patio, this spot is great for water loving dogs and/or dogs that want to retrieve, or multiple dogs who want to play. There is grass on either side of the pool and it does get quite sloshy after a lot of swimming, so be sure to bring shoes you don't mind getting messy if you have a dog that likes to swim! Plenty of places to sit, lots of large shade trees and a patio if you want to stay out of the sun, and easy to find entry. The photos are accurate in regards to what to expect. I stay with my folks when visiting the area, and this was a welcomed break from their desert landscaping.

FAQ about our Phoenix dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Phoenix area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 90 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 29 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby.
