***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** This fully fenced in backyard (8ft wood fencing) is the perfect spot for dogs to have a bit of freedom in the heart of the South End of Halifax! My two reactive dogs needed somewhere safe to play where they couldn’t see the busy world outside of our yard, and I’m hoping to share it with others! We have plenty of off-street parking, with a gate opening toward the parking lot so that you don’t have to take your dog out on the busy road. In the warmer months, a kiddie pool will be filled and available for the pups to play in. A hammock dog bed is available year round. My dogs will be inside and unable to access the yard during your Sniffspot booking.

Hi! I was born and raised in Dartmouth, NS, have lived all throughout Canada, and am now happily living back in Halifax with my 5 year old GSD named Scotia and 5 year old Pitty/Lab mix named Bama! Both of my girls are dog reactive, and can be a bit unpredictable in situations involving new people and dogs. I’m always on the lookout for safe spaces where they can have some freedom to play and just be dogs!

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We have a large 2.44 acre lot. We have fenced in a large section just for dogs. The front and side fence are wood proving full privacy to the dogs in the yard. The back fence is back chain link which blends with the trees, providing a lovely view of the hill, and trees. Inside the fence there is a small natural pond. Our pond is home to many of our famous Nova Scotia Peepers! They sing beautiful songs at night! In the daytime you may see the tadpoles or adults in the pond. Our pond is 100% natural with no chemicals. It is fed by streams coming down the hill. We have pond moss and grasses, which sometimes come loose and float. We monitor the pond very closely! You access the back yard by walking between the garage and house to the back yard. Unlatch the bottom latch first, then the top one. Please no smoking or vaping on the property. Thanks! Enjoy!
