Plenty of space for our 85 lb German Shepherd to run and play. There were two water bowls with an extra gallon of water as backup, plus there was a cooler full of waters for the humans to enjoy. Our pup loved the ChuckIt fetch toy and just generally sniffing around.
There’s a massive tree in the center of the yard, and it provides a large canopy of shade with tons of room to roam all around it. Just a fun spot to play.
Mattie’s pups were home and barked as we walked in and out, but they were quiet otherwise and no trouble at all. Five stars all around. Would definitely return. Thank you, Mattie!
Great place to take your furbabies ☺️ the next door dogs bark a bit at first but they’re very friendly. There is a bit of an incline so that’s something to be careful of when running around. I also recommend bringing mosquito repellent as it’s summer and there were a TON of mosquitoes 😅 overall, really nice sniffspot and Michele is super attentive and responsive. Thank you for having us! ♥️
Make sure you bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are bad right now! There were also people nearby setting off some fireworks so we left early, but that's definitely not Caleb's fault. It was around 7 pm and it wasn't dark yet, but since it is still close to the 4th, be aware that that might be a thing if you go in the evening.
Also, the gate is a little wonky right now. People have been opening it up backwards so the latch is all messed up and difficult to truly secure. It was fine for my dog, but if you have a dog that tries to get out through gates, it might not be secure enough.
Anyway, my dog and I love this spot!
My dogs and I both absolutely loved this spot! The yard was pristine and toys, bags, and a water bowl were all made available. We loved that in the big, gorgeous yard there were also great spots shaded by trees where the dogs would rest between playing and sniffs. This is definitely a new favorite spot of ours!
Nice small spot! Fencing seemed very sturdy and street parking worked fine. There was a dog in the next door yard but it was super calm and didn't mind that we were running around. There was a small mix up with the address but if you look at the photos the host provided it's easy to see the entrance gate to the yard, the sidewalk goes right up to the entrance like he showed in the photos.
Mattie’s Sniffspot was wonderful! It was our first time using the app and couldn’t have asked for a better experience and hosts! Mattie sent helpful instructions to find their property and had water and toys waiting for us. Lots of large trees for shade with plenty of sun patches - perfect for both sunny and cooler days. There is a small creek that runs behind their completely fenced (no gaps) yard, which was so peaceful and fun for our pups (and the humans!) to watch the birds and listen to. There was plenty of space for us to use the chuck it and all four of our furbabies returned with minimally muddy paws! We had so much fun and can’t wait to come visit again!
An expansive green space for pup to run around and a lovely host! I had forgotten my pup’s toys, but there were plenty to choose from. It was easy to clean up after my dog thanks to Mattie providing exactly what was needed. Just be sure to use the bug spray she generously provides if mosquitos tend to be drawn to you 😆
The space was great. Much larger then the pictures suggest. Probably not a lot of shade midday but by evening it had some nice shade spots. The grass was a little long but I booked last minute (4:15 for a 6:30 timeslot) so I was expecting that. The host left the gate open to make it easier to find/access which was super sweet of them.
It was great to be able to have a private, clean, fenced in space for my two dogs to run around after being cooped up from the winter weather. There was plenty of space and there was water and treats sitting out, which is a nice touch. The next door neighbors and their dog were outside for a good portion of the visit and the dog was barking, but they didn’t approach the fence and I think this was appropriately reflected in the listing details as a possibility. And, based on how well my dogs napped afterwards, we’ll definitely be back!
