55It is a great spot for my reactive dog without having to travel too far. I would ask for a bowl for water to add and maybe some toys in case people forget. Overall Pluto gives 5 stars.Amanda A.

55We very much enjoyed our first visit to this backyard paradise! Lots of space to get your zoomies out, plus a lovely little pond to dip your toes! A nice private place if uou want to some amateur or professional photos too!
We like to do some training and play some games with the dogs so we expect to be repeat visitors! Robbi B.

55Really easy to find - absolutely beautiful and picturesque property. My dog definitely went for a swim in the pond - he drank some of the water, but so far he's fine. I could hear some dogs barking in the distance - my dog is quite reactive but it wasn't an issue as they weren't too close by/not visible. Don't forget poop bags! :) This is such a beautiful spot - it was a lovely place to spend one of the first warm and sunny days of the season! A huge thank you to the hosts for offering their property.Josselyn M.

55We really enjoyed the space. Our dogs loved sniffing around the pond and in the trees. They also loved how much green space there was to run. We were mindful to keep the boys away from the driveway and we felt very comfortable that they couldn’t “escape”. Thanks for having us! Heather F.

55Easy instructions. Large, hilly backyard with trees and obstacles to muck around. My dog loved it! She even cooled off in the little pond a few times. It’s not huge and doesn’t replace a dog park, but it was perfect for our needs.Steve R.

55The dogs had a great time! We’ll definitely be back, it’s nice to have a big open space to run and the trail is well groomed to walk on. I’m super thankful for places like this for my reactive pups! Megan D.

55My pup and I loved this spot. Lots to sniff and a lovely walk through a trail amongst trees and then a wide open field that is ploughed down the middle to create a trail. It will be lovely to visit in the spring and summer when the leaves are out and the grass is green and more of the field will be accessible. Melisa B.

55With the warm weather our usual spots have been really icy and busier than usual. We had a blast today enjoying the sunshine without worry. It was very easy to find with signs from the road. My dog was having so much fun, he didn’t even react to the sound of dogs barking near by. Janice sent me a message before hand to give me a heads up about the fencing on the south end, which we really appreciated! The snow was plowed along the trail so we were walking on snow or grass (not ice, yay)! Janice was very generous and offered us a long line to borrow, and there was a garbage can at the entrance. Our buddy is so happy and fulfilled we will definitely have to come back again soon. Luisa A.

55Was great. My dog loved being able to run around without a leash. He's not sociable enough to take to an off-leash park, so this was perfect for him. I'm so thankful that places like this exist. I work on the road, so am not home a lot, but I'll definitely be going again when I am. The host was kind and helpful. Aaron J.

55A great place to tire out your pup! Could hear some other dogs and birds but they seemed distant enough that it wasn’t a distraction. Can’t wait to come again, especially once it’s summertime!Riya D.

55Really enjoyed the walk today with my beasts. My only wish is if there could have been more paths, the snow is pretty deep (snowshoes would be a hoot!).
Love that there were two long lines I could use to safely explore the spot first.
The trees also help to block some wind so that’s also lovelyCarly A.

55Beautiful area! Clean and easy to access. The signs were clear where to go, heard some dogs barking in the distance but that was all, no other concerns or disruptions. Absolutely will be back! Sandy H.

55My dog loved this space! She loves running through trees, and needs a large field to lap when she has zoomies. This place has both! Between the grass and signs of large wildlife that sometimes pass nearby it is a sniffing dog's dream!Tawnya K.

FAQ about our Edmonton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Edmonton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 15 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 3 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
