I’m aware this app is pretty new still, but Dana was very communicative from the beginning, and was available when I needed a last minute booking! I will say her yard is catered more for smaller dogs if you want your pet(s) to roam around, but I mainly used her yard to give my doggo a bath, so it was just right for me. Overall it was a smooth and easy experience so I recommend her Sniffspot to any other pet owners! :)
We had so much fun! This mom and daughter make sure you have everything you need to have the pawfect playtime with your pups. There was great evening lighting, snacks for humans and dogs, a huge area to play and all the toys their little hearts desired. I was especially impressed at how clean everything is and how they anticipate your needs. There was bug spray to keep me from being bitten, hand sanitizer and drinks on ice to rehydrate after romping around. I would 10/10 come back! We plan to be regulars at Rangi’s! We had the best time. Also, my girls normally avoid water but the pool was the perfect addition to their adventure!! It was a nice touch!
This is definitely our favorite Sniffspot here in SA! It’s always so clean, the owners are so accommodating, they have the best space for dogs and people, and the most amount of things to do!! Our pups love splashing in the pool and even got to swim around in their bathtub today. I think we definitely plan on making this Sniffspot a weekly adventure!
We live in an apartment and don't have access to a yard so we decided to look into Sniffspot. We just visited this spot for the first time and the owners went above and beyond! We booked the pawty package. Our dog received a box of SO many goodies and they decorated with streamers and balloons! Our dog was so spoiled and so were we! They had snack and drinks for us too! The set up is amazing and our dog was able to run and explore in a safe environment! I would definitely recommend this Sniffspot and we will definitely book again!
Very accommodating and easy to communicate. They had two gates to get through to make sure all dogs were secured and very unlikely to escape. The yard was very clean and well taken care of, our pups loved exploring their park and playing in the water bowl they provided. They also had a little ac unit right by their door that our pups enjoyed laying under to cool off before running around again. I know the owners mentioned they had their own dogs, but if they didn’t mention it we wouldn’t have known. Their dogs were quite and unseen, which we really appreciated. They had dog toys too, which one of our pups loved to play with.
I wish we had taken more pictures of them running, but we did snap a picture of them laying under the ac!
Picture this: a quiet little yard on the corner of mission and Yellowstone. You walk in the wood gate and see a historical site in Ryan’s yard and you wonder, how did he acquire this gem?! Your dog has two acres to run around, sniff, and explore. You panic because you forgot bug spray (this is my warning to you all), but nonetheless you keep walking around because your normally suspicious and anxious dog is having a great time exploring off leash. You read the plaques (did i spell that right?) on the historical structures, your dog pees on bushes, and for an hour, you have 2 acres of history to yourself.
Bottom line: this is a great place, and i love that it’s close to home. Ryan was super responsive and kind with my anxiety about possibly being in the wrong place. My dog is starting scent work classes soon, and we’ll definitely come back here to practice that as there are plenty of great places to hide nose work kits and let your dog find them.
