55When we arrived, Samuel wasn't there, but the lady who met us at the door was pleasant and helpful and then left us alone to play in the yard.
The yard itself is secure. There is some lived-in stuff all piled up against the back of the house, but otherwise the yard was clean and just big enough for Billy to run. rico r.

55So much fun for my 3-month old lab! Nandini And her family are so lovely. Her kiddos played with my puppy and got her all tuckered out which is all I could’ve hoped for. We had a great time :)Abbie D.

55Nice size yard for my puppy and her friend to run around. There are lots of places to sit and even extra chairs! There are poop bags as soon as you come in and a little sink where you can fill up your pups bowl if you didn't bring any water. If you're coming during the summer months bring mosquito repellent!Gina R.

55This is a great little spot in the heart of brooklyn, with just enough space to work on some agility jumps and frisbee catching (our pup is a beginner, so we weren’t looking for a big space— we’re doing small, slow tosses right now). Our scenthound loved it! Fully fenced so she couldn’t follow her nose into traffic or neighboring yards, and with so many smells from all the plants! Host was friendly and available but did her thing inside, meaning we really did have the yard to ourselves. Close enough to the J/M/Z for the train to be audible, but not so close that it was scary-loud— this was a bonus for us b/c train sounds are something we’re desensitizing our hound to (rescue from the rural south). There is street parking, with greater flexibility on weekends than during the week— we had no trouble at all. Thanks, Abigail!Michele S.

55Nice size backyard and well kept, lots of room for my girl to
run around in and sniff her heart out. Abigail was ready for us by the time we got there and even left baggies for us in case we needed them. Previous to our visit she was also nice enough to ask if we needed any special accommodations. We will visit again! Ceyvi F.

55Great indoor spot - plenty of room to run and play games with your dog and very secure, with multiple doors between the play area and the street. Note that the lock pad is electronic - I’m a Luddite who spent a couple minutes looking for the old school key pad, but it’s quite obvious when you realize it’s electronic.Katheryn W.

55Setting an appointment, accessing the play area was super easy. Lennon loved being able to run around off leash and the amenities are spotless. I will definitely be back and can’t recommend the zoomie room at Muddy Paws enough! Eric P.

55We had a great time. Entering was easy. The instructions were very clear. The place is clean and swell maintained.
This was my first time using Sniff Spot. I wanted to introduce my nervous dog to my friend’s puppy in a neutral location. I was raining so we were very glad we chose this indoor location. They ran around and chased toys… but probably aren’t friends just yet. Puppies have a lot more energy than dogs. Ha!Dawn S.

The instructions were very clear on how to enter, even though no one was there. The play area is big enough for a Great Dane to get his zoomies out. Annaleise k.

FAQ about our New York dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 95% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the New York area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 382 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 75 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
