55Annie & I had a great time at this sniff spot. The owner was quick to respond when I had a question, and was more than happy to keep their dogs contained so Annie (sometimes dog reactive) could enjoy the space uninterrupted. I would note that there was a neighbouring property that had some fairly loud and vocal (no surprise there!) hounds. It did catch the attention of Annie, and may be an issue for dogs with a lower threshold for other dogs. All in all it was a great variety of places to explore (make sure you bring marsh friendly footwear) and the lake access was a big bonus for my lab client. The only thing I found a bit confusing was where the property line was- but it did not impede our ability to explore. We will be back!
55We visited this lovely spot this week and quite enjoyed it. Lots of trees and access to a beautiful lake. I'd love to come back here again soon!
45It is a nice spot but the fenced run is quite small. While it is on a quiet street, it is still on the road and given that I’m guardian to a husky, I couldn’t let the dogs run off leash. Also very muddy this time of the year but that is to be expected.
45Max had a great time in the fenced in area. We brought a ball of our own but he tried out some sticks and other balls. Was more mucky than anticipated but can’t fault anyone but nature for that. We hope to be back to try out the lake access.
55Lots of great smells and space to explore. We played ball in the fenced in area and then had a wander down to the lake and along the shore.
55We had a fantastic time here! The fenced area was clean and had some sticks and toys to play with. It was a little wet, but not very muddy for the time of the year! The unfenced area was pretty wet but there's a short road to walk along that leads to the water, which was fun to explore. Once the dock is there, it will be a great swimming spot! If your dog isn't a good swimmer be careful though, the water gets deep pretty quick! Overall, great experience. Spent an hour there with my two reactive dogs and we didn't see a soul. Would definitely recommend. :)

Description

Hello and welcome ! We run an in home dog care service through Rover. We have 7 acres that runs down to Pentz Lake with a dock (dock to be installed end of May 2024) We live along marshy wetlands so make sure to brings boots and towels! To access the enclosed dog spot, we suggest parking at our second driveway, you will first see the home sign 47 on the left, then if you drive further there will be a driveway and brown barn structure. You're here! The big main gate is kept locked, if you walk to the left and around you will see the smaller gate entrance to get in. Please be mindful, there is a hole in this gate entrance, make sure to keep an eye on your furry friend as we work on replacing this! IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD
