Private Dog Yard In New Baltimore

What an amazing property! We had a blast running around (in and out of the water) the open areas. I'm so grateful we had good weather and lots of good sniffs for my pup to explore. My nervous rescue wasn't able to stay the full hour, but I did my best to tire him out in the time we were there. 2 full laps around the property and some zig zags made for a tired (and wet!) pup on the drive home. There was standing water, but the host reached out beforehand and I was prepared with towels. Very easy to find and we parked on the grass behind the SniffSpot sign. There was a trash can for poop bags and clear signs to avoid the back deck area. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely return!

The spot was nice, lots of water, plenty of space to exercise, but lots of poop not cleaned up. No bags or trash cans to dispose of poop. Definitely would consider going back. Lots of fun. Not sure where to park or how to get in. Just comparing to the other spot I have gone to?

Host replied: Hello Matt… I appreciate your feedback because it helps me to know what needs improving and if there’s only good reviews, I won’t know unless told, so I appreciate that. 😊 I’ve tried figuring out how to cancel appts but haven’t been able to, with multiple emails to SS asking how but unanswered. I’m kind of frustrated because I don’t have time to clean up for the next guest, if I can’t figure out how to cancel other visits, to have clean up time. Lol. Living is learning I guess. That’s on me and I’m really working on it, so thank you much for your patience. I had 4 back-to-back appts the day of your visit and was not home for any but yours, but with your review, I see certain guests will not be invited back if they can’t obey rules by cleaning up their dogs poo or read signs, clearly posted. You are the first guest that has ever said that, with everyone else saying it’s so clean, that one would never know I have 6 dogs and 11 puppies… 🐶 😂 But I welcome feedback for things like this. As for parking, my pics show where to go when signing up for an appointment, but my signs from SS just haven’t arrived yet and I ordered them 2 days after my very first appt, which was just a couple weeks ago. The trash can was and still is sitting by the huge willow tree, just at the point of entrance, or exit. It’s a 55 gal drum that’s orange, from rust. 🤣Thanks for the heads up, so I can try to improve on where else to put it. I hope that when you return, you’ll find so many activities we’re adding for the doggos in the warmer weather.

Great open space for our dogs to run around freely. Fresh water was provided and a place to sit. Our dogs had a great time.

My pups had a great time! The host was very communicative and I had no issues finding their spot. Lots of room to run and things to sniff! We will definitely be back soon!

This place was awesome! Huge space, lots to sniff and explore. Host went above and beyond with communication and was very gracious to provide towels when I forgot to bring my own.

This was well worth the 45 minute drive to just let the dogs take off on 4 acres. The host was very gracious in letting me know that their dogs would be visible from their kennels as they forgot to put them inside before leaving and offered accommodations if it were a bother. They were far enough away for my semi-reactive dogs to not give a hoot as they were too preoccupied with all the new space to explore. The yard was secure and we enjoyed seeing horses in the distance. There are some pretty muddy areas, but a bath afterwards is a small price to pay for happy, enriched, and warn out pups. Plus it's early spring in michigan so there's no escaping it! We will definitely be returning.

Great space for the dogs to run & lots of exciting smells to sniff! Great communication with the owners, who were very nice! We will definitely be back!
