55Lots of fun sniffs here! I have read some reviews that said they did not provide water for the dogs. I did not find that to be the case when I was there. However, we were there with two dogs for two hours, and they went through all the water, so it wouldn’t hurt to bring your own too, if your dogs are going to be working up a thirst.
55Very secure, my dogs had a blast.
45Host responds fast and lots of smells for dogs! It would be good if fresh water was provided and was more organized.
45 Good sized yard for zoomies!
55This is the kind of backyard that gives pups enough room to get some speed under their paws and also nooks and crannies to explore. My boys love to run behind rows of shrubs or dense brush. There is also a shed as a locus of play, and a sweet little garden that isn't so preciously composed that you'd feel it was off-limits to dogs. Same with the patio furniture. It's clear the dogs are welcome to jump up and take a break on the sofas and chairs. I had to bring my own water bowl because my boys are on medication for a possible cough. They don't play with toys much, but it's worth mentioning there was a basketful. The smell of citronella on the property suggests a low flea and tick count. But the real charm was getting a text message from the host inviting me to use the pile of firewood in the standing fire pit. Definitely coming back when it's chilly outside. I wasn't sure whether to deposit the poop bags in what looked like a landscaping bin, so I walked around the front and used the garbage can next to the house.
55 What a perfect visit. Beautiful day, a terrific backyard for chasing , chewing, rolling, fetching and a bit of guilt played to stay longer. I've always booked an hour visit. I think 1 1/2 hr is gonna be the new normal.
55It’s cute, quiet, and open! Fenced and secure. No distractions and plenty of space. We’ll be back!
55Great spot, love the vibe. Everything was as described.

Hi! Rockie, my 2 yr old boxer live together in our house with a garden! I put in a 6 foot fence last year and we are loving the freedom to use our property. I found it hard to find a place to take my dog to run and feel safe, so I’m offering my yard to you and your pooch!

Hi! My name’s Brigid. I live here with my buddy, Rockie. He’s 2 yrs old and we struggled to find a spot to play before I put in a fence! It’s been life changing. Please enjoy our yard.

Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.
