NOT OPEN!! Do not use. The owner said it was supposed to be taken down but it wasn’t.
We cleaned up after our dog- but the lawn was covered everywhere in old dried dog poop. Clearly has not been cleaned in a very very long time.
Host replied: Hi Liz. Thank you for visiting. I do apologize, I had unexpected emergency surgery last week, and have been unable to really walk yet, so I have fallen behind. I've always tried to pride myself on providing a nice, welcoming yard and feel bad that I fell short of expectations. I do hope you'll give us an opportunity to make this up to you.
Great spot. Lots of sniffs. My dogs had a great time.
Nice spacious backyard with lots of snacks and toys provided! Only thing I wish was different was the amount of dog poop in the backyard, but I understand that the owners have a small rescue and they’re kind enough to pick up after your stay as well.
Host replied: Hi Suge. Please accept my sincere apology! We were caught a little off guard, not really expecting people to start booking so early in the season. At the time the booking was confirmed, we actually were not home, or we would have certainly gotten out there and had everything up to par. I understand that in no way helps the experience that you had. If you decide you'd ever like to visit us again, we can definitely work something out to at leat attempt to rectify your previous business! Again, thank you for visiting, and thanks so much for the great feedback!!
Easy to find, plenty of street parking. The fence was high enough to contain our jumper and he really loved all the space to run around. Hosts left everything we needed in plain sight and we appreciated the table to set down our things. Would visit again!
We could not have had a better experience here. It was our first time using sniffspot, we have a very reactive dog living in the city who can’t go to dog parks and he loved it here. They provided burgers, hot dogs, use of the grill, dog treats, toys, a kiddie pool, all of the works for our dog and us. We felt totally safe and comfortable and our dog was so happy, never had to worry about people or dogs bothering him. Owners were responsive and so helpful with anything we could have needed, we really appreciated how attentive they are! They even added some tarp over the fence to block our dogs vision into the next yard, to avoid any interactions that could have upset him. The yard was in great shape and super spacious. We couldn’t recommend this enough and will definitely be back!!
Host replied: It was an absolute pleasure having Bueller and you visit! We're working on getting a few outdoor heaters set up for the cooler months. We'd love to have you back anytime!!
This Sniffspot is well stocked with snacks and drinks for both humans and dogs! It’s a well maintained yard with secure fencing. My dogs loved playing in the kiddie pool that the host set up for us. At the time that I booked, this spot was listed as being 0.5 acres, and that doesn’t seem accurate. It was much smaller than expected. There was also an area on the side of the house with open storage that could be a hazard, and a lot of trinkets in the garden that a dog could break or chew. The next door neighbor let her two dogs out and they barked at my dogs through the shared wooden fence until she put them back inside. This wasn’t a big deal for my dogs but might not be a good option for reactive dogs. I think this Sniffspot would be a great fit for smaller dogs or older dogs with less energy!
Host replied: Meredith, thank you, again, for coming to visit our spot! I also wanted to apologize and thank you, the .5 acres was a mistake! It should(and now is).25 acres. Thank you for bringing that to your attention! As we are also a full family functioning home, we definitely have our outdoor equipment, stored outside, which is a small corner behind the garage. Our snow blower, lawn mower and Christmas yard decor is there, and was covered securely by 2 blue tarps upon the beginning of your visit. There is absolutely nothing there which could be a hazard to your dogs, our dogs, nor anyone else's. We have the corner covered for aesthetic purpose's and we did to put and replace the tarp which had been taken down.
Space is nice a big to run around! Farrah 🐾 had a blast!

My family and I have a small dog rescue. We only take in elderly or hospice dogs who our vet has pulled from death row at the CACC. Occasionally we will take in younger dogs, if they a we at risk because they've been classified as "bully breeds."
