55Very welcoming! Clean, safe environment, and quiet leaving me with a positive impression. Look forward to returning, especially when the larger field has been cleared of tree damage.
55As always, the experience was fantastic. I continue to appreciate the existence of this Sniffspot.
55my dogs loved it
55Still one of our fave spots with the smaller space!
55Wonderful! Agility equipment, variety of clean toys, and a fun space to play. Little muddy of course, but mitigated by bark.
55Great space! Even the smaller space fenced off because of the ice storm:) My dog and his friend had such a great time!
55So grateful for this amazing place!! Rosie gets so excited when we turn down the driveway :) thank you for reopening!
55Thank you to Janet for creating a new space for our pups to enjoy. Yes, it is much smaller due to the ice storm damage, but it is bigger (and different) than their backyard. We look forward to gaining access to the previous area, but COMPLETELY understand that it will be a lengthy clean up process. Best of luck! G & L
55The smaller area is still plenty of room for us all to get much needed exercise.
55Janet's space is fantastic! Our pup loved it! She has toys, washes them daily and the agility pieces in the area are fun too! We will absolutely be back many times. Thanks, Janet!

We have lived in our home for over 22 years. I have raised and trained Border Collies since 1988 and have competed at sheep dog trials in California and Arizona. Due to injury requiring surgery, I have been out of the sport that I love for over 10 years. I have trained many of the herding breeds. We have raised a few Great Pyrenees over the years. We had over 40 head of sheep at one time but reduced when I had surgery. I am slowly getting back to training.

Note on Facility Restoration: the storm damage is slowly being cleaned up. I have had to hire professional loggers to help in two phases of the clean up due to the dangers of the situation. I still have logs to remove from the area and fencing to rebuild. In the reconstruction process I will be changing the entrance to be nearer the parking area with an information kiosk built in. I look forward to when dogs can return to the sanctuary. Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS: A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Please message me if interested.
