55A beautiful location. A private place for your sidekick with water features in plenty of trails. I would recommend this location to anyone.
55What a great place to explore - hiking on trails in the woods and pasture with a lovely pond - the time just flew by, and both my dog and I wanted to stay longer! The host Lori was great, sent detailed directions and gave us a property map, so we didn't get too lost :-). We will definitely be back - this is a gem!!!
55Beautiful wooded area with two really great ponds and pastures. Host was so nice and helpful. Would for sure come for another visit! The pups loved it!
55Pot holes have been filled in and sign clearly indicates where you can park. Host offered to let us use the arena because it was raining so hard, which was really thoughtful. Still, we braved the rain because the property is beautiful and so much to do! Great spot.
55Super helpful and accommodating host! The property is huge and beautiful, with lots of well maintained trails. There is good visibility, so you can spot anything that might distract your dog. The big grassy area feels enclosed even though it isn’t fully fenced, and was an awesome place to practice recall.
55A gorgeous property! The drive from Eugene was lovely & worth the time to get to this 25 acres of peace. Best Sniff spot! Green pastures, ponds for pups to swim, trails, very nice host with perfect directions. Our dogs loved it and so did we! We’ll be back!
55Great spot to get all kinds of energy out! Lori gave great instructions and greeted us upon arrival with a map of the area. Good idea to read and take screenshots of directions/instructions since reception is spotty. Overall great place and would recommend!
55I just got back from my first visit to this place. What a wonderful property ! It literally has it all, trails, a huge pasture to throw a frisbee or ball, a really nice pond for the dogs to swim in. I will definitely be back, I loved that my dogs got to swim and explore they are so happy now and so am I. Thank you Lori for sharing your beautiful property with us it was amazing !
55Actually the best Sniffspot I’ve been to. Open spaces, closed off grass field, forest, water to swim in. My dogs had the greatest time and with it being so far out we didn’t have to worry about any distractions! Will definitely be back!
55Host greeted us and gave us a map,, told us where a restroom was if needed. We felt very welcome and safe. We spent our time with our lab at the large, clean pond. This pond has easy entry and exit for dogs. Additionally, it also has spots that a dog can "launch" into the water. We will spend more time exploring the trails next time. The location was peaceful and relaxing. Our pup loved it!

Description

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

If you would like to learn the hiking trails that are available around the property I can take you on a guided walk. There is one that is relatively easy and several more that have some strenuous uphill hikes.

Indoor arena$15

60x80 fully fenced indoor riding arena is available for use. It is dog proof for large dogs but you do have to walk through the horse corral to get to the arena so not advisable to use for dogs that are aggressive towards horses.
