Our dog LOVED the amount of space and loved running along the fence with the neighbor dogs. She had a fantastic time and we were so thankful for the water they provided! My only complaints are just for the experience as an owner. I wish the yard had been mowed and there were some things like fence boards and a pot of soil that worried me that she’d try to get into. And I wish there was a sign at the fence so we knew for sure we were in the right spot. Overall though, I’d say these are small things that are outshone by how much fun our baby had. We will for sure be back!

Host replied: Hey there! The yard is mowed regularly however I do leave a few patches for wildflowers to grow to give food to the bees and pollinators. The pot of soil will also be wildflowers once the seeds begin to grow. The yard not only is a fun place for pets to play, but it’s my own backyard as well. Glad you had fun.

so perfect!! honestly a hidden gem. you wouldn’t think this house would have half an acre backyard but man, they are lucky! long enough throw a tennis ball and have my dog run without feeling crammed. water and seating completes this yard. there is a dog next door that was saying hello but there are two fences in between so it was not an issue for us. we will definitely use this yard again :)

Large yard but not worth it. Upon arrival, I got no instructions on how to enter, ended up just letting myself into the yard. The fence is shabby but I didn’t think it was so bad until my dog found the back corner behind the tree where the panels are messed up enough to allow fence fighting with the dogs next door. I was able to call my dog off but didn’t investigate to see if there was enough space for harm to happen with the dogs next door. Said dogs barked and ran the length of the fence the whole time. On top of that, a dog inside the house connected to the back yard stood in the window and barked the *entire time* we were there. Only stayed for 15-20 minutes. Didn’t want to risk my dogs safety. When I tried to leave I found the gate didn’t have a latch on the inside. The only thing it has was a little wire that I had to pull to open the latch on the other side. Owner should explain this after booking.

Host replied: I am so sorry you did not enjoy the yard. I gave you a happy wave as I left and you arrived and it was not returned. As for the fence and gate, half of it is brand new and the other half is double fenced. I am so sorry you did not understand how to work the gate. When you texted me asking me how to enter, I replied to walk down the driveway and into the gate. I was not made aware you needed anymore instruction. I am also very sorry about the neighbor dogs, if only I had any say on when the neighbor dogs would be outside. My home is secure and no dogs have learned how to open locked doors to get outside. Hope you find a spot better suited to your very special needs!
