Most perfect spot we have found. Lots of space to hike and explore! We loved it ❤️
I was disappointed at the lack of organization and communication. There are ZERO access instructions listed after you book the property. We wasted 15 minutes just waiting at the gate, hoping someone would let us in. We ended up finding a side entrance and letting ourselves in. I was surprised to see a crew of men working in the yard, driving around a 4 wheeler. This app is made for reactive dogs that need space, and I was quite irritated that this was not communicated in the listing or in the chat before arrival as other people and vehicles seem unsafe for an area that we paid to reserve. It was also a safety concern that the crew could open up gates at any time and leave them open without us knowing. The property is quite big thankfully, so we could stay away from the crew as much as possible. But there are only certain spots where the fencing is 100% secure for all dogs. This place has the potential to be great, but unfortunately we will not be returning due to lack of communication and information about the property.
Host replied: We apologize for the inconvenience, there was a miscommunication with people on site about being available to open gate. But, we do appreciate your feedback and adding to description that it is a ranch and sometimes there are jobs to be done is a good idea. Thank you. We didn’t think it’d ever be an inconvenience since there are 30 Acres available to explore. Will also notate that the barn area is off limits to our guest, which is the area where our guys were working. To avoid and concerns our guest may have with their pups and our horses. If anyone wants to visit our horses, we have no problem with that as long as they communicate to us that they wish to do so. As far as the 4 wheeler, someone has to be around on site in case our guest have and questions or need assistance. Thank you for your feedback, we will always work to make our place better for all guests.
This was our first time coming to this SniffSpot and we definitely plan on coming back! The host was very kind. The fencing was secure and there was plenty to explore! There was also a restroom with running water.
This was a great place to take our dog and her cousin! There were horses on-site, and while we were a little worried about them spooking one another, there was so much space we were able to keep them apart entirely. We took the dogs through a walk in the woods, and while it is fenced all around, towards the back it’s just barbed wire that my dog easily slipped through. We were able to get her back pretty easily, but just a word of warning back there if your dog’s recall isn’t the best. Really we had a great time and these dogs were so dirty and happy and tired when we got them back in the car. The restrooms came in handy too for the adults! We will certainly be back!
Iris was super accommodating and let us book last minute. The property is large and has a few different areas to explore. The dogs had a blast being able to run free and loved the creek. They left muddy, smelly and happy. I will note that the fencing has about 1 ft gaps so if you have a runner or small dog, I’d keep that in mind.
My 11 week old and 9 month old puppies had a great time here- especially the creek. It had been raining most of the morning and night so it was very muddy but despite this everyone had a good time. We walked past all of the construction going on (lots of debris currently but nothing unsafe) into the back area and woods. I would mention that the fence is definitely wide enough at the entrance that a small to medium size dog, or a dog with poor recall, could slip out. We will definitely be back once my smaller pup is a little older! The boys had a blast.
Very nice spot. Be aware that it had rained for several days prior and there was a lot of mud. We didn't mind and neither did our dog. Just keep it in mind when you book. Owners were very friendly. Pointing out where to get water, chairs etc. There are bathrooms available in a free standing building. We did not use them but they appeared nice. Fencing is split rail and a small dog could get out. But, the space is so large that our dog ran all over the place and never went close to the fence. Plenty of field space and trees to sniff around It appears that they are doing some work in the area and our dog loved going up and down the dirt piles and exploring rock piles. There was some construction debris that can be avoided. Large pavilion area offers shade near a small play area for kids. I'm sure we're will be back.
Truly loved this place . It was very clean and spacious. My pups and I really enjoyed it , can’t wait to visit again. The host was amazing and very welcoming.
