I really wanted to love this experience. I was super grateful that it was available on short notice and the host was a nice guy who met me there to secure one of the gates. I appreciated his attention to that! I quickly discovered that the home is undergoing what looks like renovations and the yard is a bit unkempt. More than once I came across something that felt unsafe for my pup, after throwing her ball near the hazard. Eeek. A piece of sharp wire fencing camouflaged by grass (see photos), chunks of wood (for the outdoor fire pit?), some sort of netting. I had to wrestle an old scrunchie from my dogs mouth. Then there were a few piles of what looked like deer poop? and large dog poop. At one point I just covered a huge pile of poop with a crate found in the yard. Could not bear to pick it up myself, sorry. We managed to make the best of it for almost 30 minutes but then I decided to leave and walk her on leash in the lovely neighborhood for another 15 minutes. It can definitely be a great sniff spot, needs TLC.
