I'm thrilled to see a half-acre Sniffspot in Orange County, where so many locations are just small back yards! The host seems very friendly as well, and my dogs enjoyed having a new place to explore while a foot injury is making me terribly boring to them. Visitors should know, though, that this spot is not going to be safe for some dogs. The house, which (as the description says) is in mid-renovation, is completely open, and that presents some hazards---open pits that could really injure a careening dog, things sticking up from the unfinished floor, nails and insulation and other items lying around that a dog could easily step on or put in its mouth. At minimum it's a management issue to keep dogs from exploring the house. A cheap roll of temporary fencing would make this spot a hundred times safer. I know it's a brand-new listing, so I hope that's in the plans. This could be a great place for OC dogs!
Host replied: Thank you for the advice. I will be putting up a barrier around the house.

Our house is currently unoccupied while we are waiting for plans to be approved for renovation. Itโs fully fenced in with several mature trees. Lots of shade.
