Great location! Lots of room for the dogs to run and explore, water available and even a bucket of dog toys. We had a "party" for our dog's birthday and it was perfect. Host was available to greet us and answer any questions.
This was our first Sniffspot experience, and my dog Grace's first time off leash anywhere outside of our family backyard(s). She's an anxious pup that is upset easily by other dogs and strangers, so we were very happy to find this host ... she could explore on her own without fear. There were shady spots to lay down, wide open spaces to run and so much to investigate she wasn't even interested in the ball I brought. I was happy she could just relax and be a dog in a new place. It was definitely a good experience for her!
Beautiful place, lots of trees and flowers, mini puddle for quick dog dip. Very attentive and friendly host. Was a bit of a drive from Pleasant Hill but worth it. Don’t miss this place!
This is one of my favorite SniffSpots. There's a nice mix of open space and trees. If you have a toy dog, there's a fun surprise of toys scattered about. Two out of three visits, there were dogs barking across the street. That was OK for my dog, but if you have a very dog-sensitive dog, beware. It's just a relaxing experience with lots for a dog to enjoy and get a good run in. I really like the host too. He's very friendly and supportive. And he's doing a ton to continue to improve the land/area. That's something I really appreciate. The area has been better every time we have gone back.
Lovely area! The trees and building provided a variety of sniffing opportunities.
Great communication with host. This Sniffspot is a residential property so the yard contains things like a play structure, etc, but the property is large and there was plenty of room for the dogs to run! Our local group of collie owners met here for a playdate and everyone had a great romp. The collies enjoyed playing and checking out all the sniffs. We would go back!
This is a *great* sniffspot. It's a big area. The fencing ranges from adequate to good. There's lots of trees as well as open areas. The owner is very nice and allowed us to turn on the spigot on the back of the house to let my dog drink. It's a fair price. I was just overall tickled with the experience. There are three dogs across the front of the street who bark quite a bit every time we went to the front of the house. But the bulk of the sniff area is in the back and the dogs stopped barking when we went out of sight. I'll definitely be going back.
The property was nice for a local outing if you do not want to travel to eugene. But there was not much to do there. I was really looking forward to parkor obstacles but I couldn't find any. The property had some equipment lying about that would have been nice to know about ahead of time.
Fun spot for the pups! My pittie mix particularly enjoyed a mud puddle she found, and my Shepard loved all the toys and sticks to chew.
This was so fun for my dogs! Definitely fully fenced, lots of room for the pups to run and sniff and easy to get to from Eugene. The only potential downside for some people may be that the neighbor’s big dog was right up at the fence a handful of times. There was definitely enough space to redirect my selective dog to another part of the property when he noticed, but that may be something to consider if you have a reactive dog with poor recall. Five star experience from us though, thanks Adam!
