Fun place for my dogs. They love running around the fire pit
The neighbors dogs are impressive escape artists. They did not get into the backyard, but they sure tried their best. The owner was very accommodating and came and made sure they were not able to make it into the backyard so that my dog and I were comfortable. By the end of the visit, the neighbor was also there to try and figure out how to limit their dogs’ escape routes. But overall great experience, Poppy was able to run around without too much of a worry. And the backyard is big enough that there was a lot of running!
My girls and I had a good time. We ran and played and enjoyed our time.
Host replied: Glad you and the girls had a good time, look forward to having you all again hopefully!
While the landscaping was beautiful here and the visit started out great, two large huskies from next door suddenly busted into the Sniffspot yard from under the bordering fence. My dog is anxious-reactive somewhat so I panicked it might escalate into a fight. Luckily the two dogs were friendly, I was able to pick up my dog and get her into the car backseat, and safely go back into the yard for all her toys/my phone. The owner was very responsive and apologetic after it happened, but they were not on site to assist when it occurred. I understand these were not the Sniffspot owner’s dogs, but I would consider this possibility before renting here if your dog is dog-reactive. Otherwise, as I said, the landscape/yard was nice. Also there was some dog poop in the grass, but like only one, not a bunch.
Host replied: Again, very sorry that happened to you and the pup. I feel terrible about it all. This review is fair given what happened. In the nearly 2 years I've lived here, it's never happened, so it was as much of a surprise to me as it was to you :(. Terribly sorry. For anyone visiting in the future, the offending hole under the fence has been plugged up with a dozen heavy rocks to prevent this from happening again and the neighbor has been made aware to plug up his end where they managed to get out from as well.
Super clean and fun! Lots of space for the pup to run around, will definitely be coming back!
Host replied: It was great to have you and Lander! Looking forward to having you back!
