Welcome! We offer a roughly 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog’s very own sniffari! Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! Private parking for one vehicle available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. We are offering an introductory rate for our grand opening, running through the end of March. Please try us out and give your feedback!

Centrally located between the I5 and 512 off Waller Road and Canyon Road. Beautiful landscaped park like setting with an indoor arena suitable for small to medium sized dogs to play. The arena opens up to the fully fenced 1/4 acre grass dog playpen. The South facing gate in the dog pen opens up to the backwoods area. Venture out to the wooded area providing a cool shaded area for your dogs to romp and sniff.

*Hello everyone, I am going Members Only for a little while so that the space is quieter while I welcome and train a new puppy. I’ll be tackling some much needed improvements and projects in the meantime. Thank you so much for your interest, and see you in the fall!* Magical cedar forest with many small trails encircling natural springs, streams, and even a waterfall. The lower part of the property includes Sound shoreline for saltwater playtime. There is also a large, grassy pasture. Conservation land on all sides, full of wildlife and flowers. No neighbors in sight once you head down the lane. This spot is best for adventurous dogs and their humans! The access road is steep, and side trails and can be muddy or have tall vegetation. Wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Guide available via extras. Farm fresh eggs, kayak rentals, and farm tours also available.

DEEP SNOW HERE! AT LEAST A FOOT OUT BY THE GATE. WOULD SUGGEST WAIT UNTIL WE GET SOME WARMER WEATHER AND RAIN. WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: I have a new young dog who is still learning about socialization and is a bit on the vocal side. I apologize if this is a problem for your dogs. I will try to keep her under control. This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dogs bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. The garden is done for this year so if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

The fencing is very secure here. This spot is over 1+ acres. The middle area is mostly wooded with some semblance of a trail throughout, though its mostly just left in its natural state so you may have to step over some fallen logs while wandering about. It is long and narrow shaped. Each end has a grassy more open area. The whole area stays reletively dry year round due to the tree cover. Not a ton of open grass space for far throwing fetch, but lots of space for dogs to run and explore in a narutal feeling setting, and fetch could be played in the grassy area closest to where you enter as there is a 50+ throwing distance or so there. All of our fencing is 5+ feet tall, just installed this last year so very sturdy. It runs pretty close to the ground so even small dogs should be safe. There is a double wide gate to enter. Please try to do your best to pick up after your own dogs waste. None of our own animals use this space to it remains nice for all who visit. There is no water access here so also please bring your own water and dish for your dog to stay hydrated while they play. There are not usually other dogs visible from this space. A neighbor a few houses down has 2 dogs that are sometimes out but can only be seen through the trees in one 10' linear span of fence along my space. If anyone is walking a dog along the road, they would be visible through the trees from that side of fencing, but again from a distance, and rarely a dog may be out in another fenced area of my property as a couple of my renters who also live here have dogs in other fenced yards so when they are home they may be out. But they dont share a direct fenceline so would never be nose to nose with your dogs. And I will always have my dogs inside if you have booked a day in advance, and will try my best to have them inside if im able during a same day reservation. If you are worried about other dogs because yours are reactive to possibly seeing other dogs nearby and its a same day reservation, please message me ahead of time so I can either make sure there wont be any other dogs around at that time on my property for sure, or let you know a time when that could be the case if its not possible during the time you reserved origionally. My husband and I are dog and animal lovers. We want to provide people who are in similar situations to us a few years ago (before we purchased our home) a place for their puppers to run free. Fully Fenced! Parking along the yard in the alley. Pictures of your pup adventures are encouraged! *there is a spigot on the back of the house at the bottom of the stairs to fill the water bowl if it happens to be empty.

** 2/10/2023: Your dog WILL get MUDDY - my yard has nowhere near as much grass as it used to. Feel free to spray your dog(s) off with the hose and/or use the towels provided. ** 8/26/2022: I just started offering memberships - please sign up if you're interested and we'll see how this goes. You can choose 2, 4, or 8 hours/month. ** 8/12/2022: I just updated my spot settings to allow a timeslot to be booked no more than 14 days into the future. (Although preferably within a few days/one week is best - my spot's day-to-day accessibility changes often!) So, if it looks like my spot is closed, it's not! It's just no longer showing availability so far into the future. ** Thank you for continuing to leave a review every time you visit and add photos - it helps a lot, and I LOVE seeing the photos of all the cute dogs enjoying the yard! I have quite a big yard for this area. It is fully enclosed by a 6' wooden fence. Between the yard and the patio the total area is roughly 3200 sq feet. I have a rockery that dogs love to run up and down, juniper bushes, a large covered and uncovered patio area, a kiddie pool in the hot weather, 2 water bowls (and a hose for replenishing the water/pool if needed), lots of tennis balls and toys, and a large perimeter to sniff! There is a bench, small table, and some Adirondack chairs in the backyard (and more chairs and a larger table up on the patio) for the humans... feel free to move them around as you wish! There is plenty of space to throw balls and toys; if you have mobility issues and cannot go down into the backyard, you can stay up on the patio and have your dog bring the ball back to you. Most dogs love to run up & down the rockery! Your dog(s) will be very tired and happy by the end of the Sniff! Side note: I do dog-sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits through Rover, and I always love to meet new doggos if they are friendly! :) Thanks and enjoy the time with your dog(s)!!

We have two fully fenced areas (front and back of the house) as well as an unfenced, wooded area on the corner (with a walking path). Lots of running space! There are usually a few chairs out there so make yourself comfortable. There's shade and shelter from rain. Only one neighbor (no houses in front or back of ours) and not on a busy street. We have one dog who will remain inside during visits. We also have friendly chickens who are fully enclosed outside the fenced yard - and they don't spook easily (our dog interacts with them frequently). We work from home full-time but both yards are accessible from the outside and available whenever.
