If you book this sniff spot be sure it exists as you can't prove it by me that it does. I drove a total of 75 miles and 45 minutes driving a stretch of Hale Road looking for the gate in the photo. When I messaged the land owner she informed me the gate was a 1/2 mile down a dirt road, too bad I could not find it and I should have had a pretty drive thru the countryside. She did not have the common courtesy to offer me a return appointment at no charge. Caveat emptor.

Bella & Ana's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Blacksburg

We are a short 6 minute drive from downtown Blacksburg in a serene mountain setting. Lots of parking space if groups want to come. Inside the fenced backyard there are benches for you to rest on while your pooch plays. You are also welcome to use the deck and work or charge your device. If you are here in the evening with friends, there is a fire pit that you can use for a bonfire if you bring your own. There is a creek behind the property on the outside of the fence that can be accessed and hiking trail nearby. We have 3 indoor/outdoor cats and there are 3 cows that roam around on the property next to us.

Open field for your dog to run. NOTE: CELL SERVICE is unreliable, texting a bit better. GPS is unreliable as well. Before your first visit, you should get an auto-message 2 hours before your reservation with turn by turn directions. Now on to the good info. The primary area is about 1 1/2 acres. I use it for dog sports such as Toss and Fetch (disc). It is ideal for throwing a ball, a disc, or just letting your dog run. There is a shed in this area that has chairs, toys, etc. for guests. There is an agility field, available by special permission only, for those with prior agility experience. See extras.

We have shelter within our carport. There will be chairs and a table available. That is a good view for the front yard and back yard. Both the front and back are fenced in separately but have access to both through a gate. We have a deck for a great view of the backyard and there will be table and chairs available. You’ll have access to high speed Wi-Fi to do a little work, if needed, while your fur babies run that energy out. We have dog toys and pooper scooper/poop bags. There is a hose available for those extra hot days and a water bowl will be provided. Hope you enjoy our yard as much as we do.
