Welcome to Canada Corners! Home to all things dog sports! We have a big ultra dog friendly yard, pool, and indoor K9 gym that is well stocked with training supplies and dog sports equipment. We back up to a hay field, apple orchard, and a wetlands and pond that is full of lovely wildlife and birds. We also have a herd of goats that stay in their separate pasture. The goat area is off limits to dogs except on approval, however people are welcome to say hi to the goats and may feed them pre-approved snacks. The yard is not a perfectly manicured lawn; it is left somewhat natural so you can expect leaves, longer grass (nothing too crazy), weeds, and some uneven footing. Digging is welcome in this yard so watch out for doggy dig sites! The pool has just been cleaned from winter. There is a filter as well as a small chlorine tab. Shock and other pool chemicals used as needed but as minimally as possible to stay super pet friendly. The pool yard can be closed off from the main yard if needed. The pool is about 2’ deep with an inflatable ramp for smaller dogs to exit safely. The pool sets right next to the deck allowing dogs to jump into the pool easily. There are pool noodles to fill the gap between the deck and pool edge for safety. The deck is composite and does heat up in the sun but umbrellas and pop ups are available to keep it shady. And a mister for especially hot days! There are agility obstacles and training equipment on site - we have jumps, weaves, small tunnel, old school flyball box and hurdles, platforms, klimb table, carpet mill, fitpaws equipment, and a SwiftPaws kit. We also have equipment for nosework, shed hunt, obedience, and a full rally set of signs with cones. There are loads of dog toys and treats available including a Treat n Train machine. There is a large tire ball pit - this is located in the pool yard so that it can be closed off if needed. Everything in the yard and three season porch is available for use during your visit. There is a small library of training resources and some games for people including a badminton set. Drinks, refreshments, and snacks are available in the mini fridge and snack basket! Assistance with dog sport training is available (requires some coordination around schedules) and questions about the equipment are always welcome! Our welcome table has our full menu of services from dog grooming to training to pet portraits! This private dog park is also home to Canada Corners Pet Grooming. There is a dog wash inside. Spot & Trail conditions report: Thursday 4/25/24 7:30am. Our soil is mostly sand, so our trails rarely (if ever) have standing water after a rain. The trails are groomed and ready for you! Not enough hours in a day? Check out our "Get Your Glow On" Extra and come play with your pooch after dark. WE ARE OPEN 7 days-a-week Year-Round (including holidays)! Our guests describe our Sniffspot as a "Destination Spot." That is why our guests travel here from Grand Rapids, Holland, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. We have Ten scenic wooded acres (square). Fully fenced in. Walk along the pond and through the trees on groomed trails. There are also yard areas and a picnic table. Beautiful and private acreage with views of a 60-acre non-motorized lake. Canicross and Canicross Training welcome! One lap of our outer loop (through the woods) = 1/2 mile. We are set up nicely to practice 5K.

Parking space available in front drive area. Entrance to backyard is to the left of the home. Either use the fenced in area or open area to the left. Both areas are approximately .25 acres.

We have 10 acres of land to run. Pond outside last treated last year (July) Has gate that can be closed in front yard. Fence around 10 acres, but can get out if determined. Anyone coming has to have eyes on their animals for the duration of the stay.

One acre in the woods. There is a very old husky in the fenced part of the yard. He gets along with most dogs .

Approximately 50 acres of woods has one main trail and optional side trails. Trails have clear boundary lines so please do not cross into neighboring property.
