We have everything to make this experience one for the books and for a dog to have their best time! We have a private entrance through a gate to enter the yard! (Your not allowed inside the house) You can lay in the hammock or sit in the sun on a chair while your dog runs and plays! You can work on confidence building with our little tikes climbers, trampoline or teeter totter (all with grippies on it for traction!). Will your dog bolt through a fence? We have long lines! Dog gets to hot? We have 3 kiddie pools! Also a big bucket for drinking water! Dog takes a big poop? We got scoopers and a bucket (clean up after your dog) Dog gets dirty? We have a small bathing station (holds up to 90lbs) with flea shampoo, brushes, and nail clippers (the water is hose water)!! Get hungry? Eat a crabapple (no litetally) we have 3 trees! Forgot a ball? We have plenty! Does your dog like to run through tall grass? We have a spot for that as well! Does your dog want to take home his ball from his trip? DO ITT! *we are NOT liable if your dog gets hurt. We do NOT have a public bathroom (no, seriously you can't come inside), clean up after your dog*

"Big Open Area" has 2 ponds with optional pavilion, BBQ grill and fire pit with a bundle of wood.

Parking space available in front drive area. Entrance to backyard is to the left of the home. Either use the fenced in area or open area to the left. Both areas are approximately .25 acres.

Welcome to Canada Corners! Home to all things dog sports! We have a big ultra dog friendly yard, pool, and indoor K9 gym that is well stocked with training supplies and dog sports equipment. We back up to a hay field, apple orchard, and a wetlands and pond that is full of lovely wildlife and birds. We also have a herd of goats that stay in their separate pasture. The goat area is off limits to dogs except on approval, however people are welcome to say hi to the goats and may feed them pre-approved snacks. The yard is not a perfectly manicured lawn; it is left somewhat natural so you can expect leaves, longer grass (nothing too crazy), weeds, and some uneven footing. Digging is welcome in this yard so watch out for doggy dig sites! The pool has just been cleaned from winter. There is a filter as well as a small chlorine tab. Shock and other pool chemicals used as needed but as minimally as possible to stay super pet friendly. The pool yard can be closed off from the main yard if needed. The pool is about 2’ deep with an inflatable ramp for smaller dogs to exit safely. The pool sets right next to the deck allowing dogs to jump into the pool easily. There are pool noodles to fill the gap between the deck and pool edge for safety. The deck is composite and does heat up in the sun but umbrellas and pop ups are available to keep it shady. And a mister for especially hot days! There are agility obstacles and training equipment on site - we have jumps, weaves, small tunnel, old school flyball box and hurdles, platforms, klimb table, carpet mill, fitpaws equipment, and a SwiftPaws kit. We also have equipment for nosework, shed hunt, obedience, and a full rally set of signs with cones. There are loads of dog toys and treats available including a Treat n Train machine. There is a large tire ball pit - this is located in the pool yard so that it can be closed off if needed. Everything in the yard and three season porch is available for use during your visit. There is a small library of training resources and some games for people including a badminton set. Drinks, refreshments, and snacks are available in the mini fridge and snack basket! Assistance with dog sport training is available (requires some coordination around schedules) and questions about the equipment are always welcome! Our welcome table has our full menu of services from dog grooming to training to pet portraits! This private dog park is also home to Canada Corners Pet Grooming. There is a dog wash inside. This is by appointment only, please contact me for details!

We have 10 acres of land to run. Pond outside last treated last year (July) Has gate that can be closed in front yard. Fence around 10 acres, but can get out if determined. Anyone coming has to have eyes on their animals for the duration of the stay.

Spot & Trail conditions report: Wednesday 4/17/24 7:30am. Our soil is mostly sand, so our trails rarely (if ever) have standing water after a rain. The trails are groomed and ready for you! Not enough hours in a day? Check out our "Get Your Glow On" Extra and come play with your pooch after dark. WE ARE OPEN 7 days-a-week Year-Round (including holidays)! Our guests describe our Sniffspot as a "Destination Spot." That is why our guests travel here from Grand Rapids, Holland, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. We have Ten scenic wooded acres (square). Fully fenced in. Walk along the pond and through the trees on groomed trails. There are also yard areas and a picnic table. Beautiful and private acreage with views of a 60-acre non-motorized lake. Canicross and Canicross Training welcome! One lap of our outer loop (through the woods) = 1/2 mile. We are set up nicely to practice 5K.

Big open area has 2 open ponds so dogs are able to jump into water. Has optional pavilion, BBQ grill, and fire pits with bundles of wood.

Approximately 50 acres of woods has one main trail and optional side trails. Trails have clear boundary lines so please do not cross into neighboring property.
