Description

**APRIL 2024 UPDATE: our fully-fenced dog park is now open. The lower pasture (approx. 1/4 acre) is fully fenced and provides a relatively flat area for you and your dog to enjoy. We have water access in this area, too. Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass.

Hazards

We are in a county-zoned area next to Quicksilver Park so there may be critters, big & small. Please wear closed-toe shoes as there may be ticks or other bugs. While there are mountain lions/coyotes/bobcats in the area, they tend to only come out at night and we rarely see them (have never seen a mountain lion, even on our security cameras at night). We do mow the grass regularly, however, we do NOT use any pesticides so weeds (including prickly ones) can be present. We do our best to eliminate these naturally with the weed whacker or mower.

Additional rules

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind. No flames - we are in a high fire risk area. No loud music or noise - noise carries in our valley so please be considerate of our neighbors. Please do not block the gravel driveway. Ensure your vehicle is pulled in enough for our neighbor to be able to access their house.

	Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the spot.
	Make sure the area is safe and secure before bringing your dog in.
	Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.
	Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.

This is my pup and my first Sniffspot experience. Our time at Kristina’s Sniffspot was fantastic! Her place was clean and very spacious, providing the perfect environment for my half husky/half beagle fur baby to run around and play with my friend's two other dogs. After the dogs were tired out, we relaxed in the shaded area near the barn while they enjoyed water and treats. I recommend visiting in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat, as there is limited shade in the play area. Don't forget to bring poop bags, toys, and water. There is a garbage can on site for your convenience. Overall, I would rate Kristina's place a perfect 10/10. Communication with her was smooth and her directions were clear and easy to follow.

The pets absolutely loved the place! It's a perfect time before the grass starts drying up, it was great for them to jump around and play, explore the place. The location is absolutely awesome, nested in the almaden valley. Absolutely recommend the place for folks to try it.

Long grass and a little mud made for fun ball searches for my youngster. At times all I could see was her stubby tail wiggling! Wore her out and NO ticks - win win! Be aware there are some mushrooms growing at the barn end. Thanks for sharing your space Kristina!

The area is huge and clean. Kristina shared the detailed info on how to access the spot well in advance. She is very friendly and even offered to inform her neighbour’s about our visit so that they can keep their pup inside. My pup had a great time frolicking around the tall grass. We will visit again.

Beautiful 2 acres, sloping hillside leading to a lush pasture meadow. Peaceful and secluded, plenty of shade and also large sunny areas. Fresh waters available at all times. Fully fenced with 6 ft chain link, easy access and property hosts always on site
